I wonder if villagers stay on the archipelago if you have them move out of town. If they do this would’ve been a nice way to “scrapbook” villagers who have long left the island.

You can just invite them to the archipelago, make the vacation home for them so that they always show up around the vacation island, then kick the villager out of you main island if you want to. The villager will still be in the vacation island living their best life, so you won't really be saying goodbye

I’m going to be getting the dlc when I’m tired of the update. It is so that I can feel like I have a brand new update! That’s just what I’m going to do.

Everyone is saying this.. but if you play the update… Brewster takes 2 days to build, kappn is once a day and your first island is normal with Brewster cruising around… so uh what are you waiting for?

I got Eloise first, who, incidentally, was one of my villagers, before she moved on (sadly, she didn’t seem to remember me).

The thing I personally wanna know about the DLC is how roommates work! I've seen statement that say "you can recommend or suggest that two villagers become roommates" so I hope that means we are 100% in control of who we pair up together! Or I wonder if they have to have the same home request? Like in the trailer, Spike and Static's home had Heart of the City theme or smthn so I wonder if two villagers have to have the same theme in order to pair them. Not sure anyone has gotten to the roommates part yet though so Ig we'll have to see... I also hope we can pair NPCs together as roommates! I have so many NPC pairs I want together

I have no clue how to upgrade the house! I set it so it’s got the whole house unlocked on the outside, but it’s still just the one room?

You can have multiple homes on the same island, so you could make a home for every single villager if you wanted to.

@@volson333 You can remodel homes and even rename the theme so no not really, and like said above you can put multiple villagers on the same plot it only allows 1 pic for each villager so if you have say 5 different villagers at c-5 it will show all 5 of them. Once you do them all you basically seen everything the game has to offer but since theres 400+ villagers and the falicities and also the ability to remodel their house and ask them to change the name its pretty much infinite.

So if you have 2 villagers on the same plot how do you visit them if you can like are they just always in there vacation home

You can change their clothes while editing the house/room by highlighting the character and pressing the right arrow on the d-pad. You don't have to wait to take photos to do so.

So I haven't watched the video yet, but a small tip I've found is that it's really worthwhile visiting the villagers you build houses for on the archipelago. They'll thank you for your effort and give you the gift of an item you used in the build. I think it's chosen randomly, but these items can be rare or seasonal too! I had Marina give me an underwater floor as thanks for helping her out. Such a nice touch. 😊

I got it last week and I play it more than the base game. If you love interior design or even just simple decorating, this DLC is not only fun but extremely cute and quite versatile for how repetitive it gets.

I love visiting watching the islanders use their items . They sing, dance, cook, sleep, play instruments, etc. Lovin it.

do the villagers on the beach change over time? ive just designed my first house for eloise, but i really dont care for the ones roaming by the shore right now (alli, clyde, mallary). and i know you said the houses are unlimited, but id really rather not have the ones in the back of the actual island only be ones i dont like. btw, this video is amazing and so useful for someone thats never played HHD especially! thank you!

Well hopefully I can get the DLC in my version I hope so far it looks pretty cool to me

you can plant money trees on your island, the glowing bells that you dig up, if you bury bells in that glowing hole it will grow a money tree xx hope this helps

A fun thing I found out that if you have a villager on you home island and on the hhp island while also said villager is working at a facility if their sick they won't show up to work. 🤣

Your List of clothing in the locker grows while building more and more houses for Animal characters. 3x after a specific number of houses you get another upper-body-piece and another dress of the special working-collection. The number of pants/Sports, hats, face-accessories, socks, shoes and bags grows by the items, that the customers unlock and after Ton nook visits the office, all items, that you ever owned in the main-game, are added, too.

I just got happy home Paradise last night already decorated two houses. Just got off from work, ready to play after your video. Please guide me Switch Force.

HHP seems very similar to the DS version, with perks.

I pre-downloaded it on the 29th (yes, downloaded, I have Nintendo Online, so I got the DLC for free) and it’s so much fun! Like WOW! Also, it’s the perfect past-timer because I am waiting for Brewster in two days and Kappn everyday EDIT: I just got Ione at my campsite and ran to Tom Nook to sell a plot of land, spammed the A button to talk to Ione and now she’s coming to my island tomorrow. I’m just bursting with happiness!! EDIT 2: Shino is coming to my island!! I went to a mystery island, and there she was!

What condition does your island have to be to access the HHP ? Restarted island then bought HHP and can not “go to work” at airport.

Y’all the dlc will be available when it hits nov. 5th in your time zone!! Right now in Australia it is already November 5th so that’s why they are able to play!! If you’re in the US it’s not available yet!
