It's an emotional movie where even though they sing, look happy and being together it still show the reality. Like ice age, even though they're fun they still have the thriller scene. I'm crying when baby penguin got separate from their mom and how his origin was being abandoned from the start because he's different and the shrimp who lost his friends. Not to mention the penguin who leave his owner because he thought they would cook him. They all have the terrible time, but they still have their happy ending.
@adventurekitty101

Sounds like you’re describing Happy Feet 2 as well. Also Mumble’s dad dropped him as an egg, while mom was out fishing for them. Also Mumble’s family didn’t abounding him. Mephis did treat him differently though because he was angry at himself. Norma Jean loved her baby, and didn’t care Mumble was different. Also Sven was a from Happy Feet 2, and was a puffin pretending to be a penguin and was rescued by the humans, but ran away due to that fear of being eaten. (Just jogging your memory, as I love both these films. 😁)

Same here! Happy Feet is a childhood classic. The only scenes I remember as a kid were 1. Norma Jean, Memphis, and all of the other penguins singing at the beginning of the movie. 2. The egg development when Memphis dropped the egg of Mumble. 3. All of the penguins hatching, including Mumble hatching and starting to dance. 4. The penguins school scene with Gloria and Seymour singing and Mumble horribly singing. 5. Mumble getting teach to sing by Mrs. Astrakhan. 6. Baby Mumble dancing solo and the birds coming into the dance sequence. 7. The fishing scene. 8. The graduation scene with Gloria and the penguins singing Somebody to Love before they hear Mumble singing badly 9. The leopard seal chase and Ramon and the penguins showing up on screen roasting the seal 10. Asking Lovelace a question about aliens. 11. Sequence of Boogie Wonderland 12. Mumble ending up in a zoo. The penguins finding out that Mumble had a tracker on his back. 13. The dance sequence when the "aliens" came Now looking back into the movie, I could now kind of get the jokes, horror, and the scenes George Miller added! Amazing movie! A+

@@eliasvenaas1685 A good way to describe a fear of the dark when you're alone as well. You're not just afraid that you're alone. There are many reports of Orcas attacking fishing vessels and yachts off the coasts of Portugal and Spain and in the Strait of Gibraltar. Experts are currently trying to ascertain the cause or motivations behind the attacks. Some have speculated that a Mother of the pod had some sort of run in with a boat and the rest of the pod have since started targeting boats. No reported deaths as far as I can tell. They are normally peaceful creatures when it comes to people but there is indeed a precedent of attacks targeting people and boats, according to according to data from GT Orca Atlantica working group there has been at least 60 such incidents since the beginning of this year along the Iberian Peninsula. I have paraphrased but I suggest anyone interested do their own reading up because this is a fascinating topic!

It's crazy how terrifying those scenes are and even more they're in a kids movie
Try living that leopard seal scene in 3d

Oh no I'm so sorry 😱 have you seen ice age the meltdown? Now that's a freaking scary movie for a child
It’s been a lot of years and I never mentioned how scary it was to anyone because I thought I just looked at things different. But it’s a relief to see someone finds the horror in this like I do
I agree growing up I always remembered the seal telling the penguins he'd eat them with ketchup 😭😭
That jump scare is a scene straight out of jaws! Terrifying!
You say it's a horror movie, I say it's a nature documentary. We are not the same. (Let the circle of life continue)
-Opening on the burning sun. -Desolate, yet accurate depiction of Antarctica during winter months. -Horror-like jumpscares. -Main character almost dying multiple times. -Orca's behaving in their natural way, that is, that they play with their food
this is literally my ultimate comfort movie 😂
Not to mention he loses his mind in captivity watching as his family melts away
Personally, I have to say that the Killer Whale scene is probably my most fondly remembered moment of this movie.
I was that one kid who screamed in theaters. Not every theater, just happy feet. Didn’t help that I saw the killer whale scene in 4d.
Ironically, leopard seals are one of my favorite animals because of this movie. But they still scare the shit out of me. Beautiful beasts.
"seals are so cute😊" Happy feet: you sure about that?
Bullshit mate every kids film has a scary monster. Finding Nemo has bruccy and the lantern fish. Fox and the hound has the grizzly bear. Lion king has hyenas trying to kill simba at the start. Should I go on?

That is a child that only knows eat, sh1t, sleep, repeat. Children at that age don't know a sense of 'scared' they only know that they don't like certain things. They are still figuring out things and once they start to stand up and walk is when they start realizing things about society and the world around them.

Happy feet was one of the worst films i saw as a kid. I was more depressed and disturbed by the film. As an adult the film is okay
this was my favorite movie as a child y’all sleepin on this fr😤
Me and my cousin went to that movie with our moms when we were like 5. That seal scared the shit out of us. Now 15 years later my mom still brings this up at least once a year. Not gonna lie i still poop my pants seeing this
I literally just joked to my family calling happy feet a horror movie and now this appears
Just remember kids... This is a teachable moment 😂
The horror for the fly is the normality for the spider...
My 2 irrational fears are dark bodies of water AND orcas.
