Yeah that ain't happening until well after American society collapses. We're showing all the signs of an empire in decline and I'm not seeing any way out of it - neither political party is competent nor do (the majority of) politicians really care about anything but their own careers. And then there's Wall St and the investor class which just can't stop frothing at the mouth for robbing the rest of us blind. Best thing you can do is stop playing their games - don't work for, invest in, or do business with Fortune 500 companies, and don't ever believe that the federal government under the control of either party will save you. Instead, rebuild your local communities that have been destroyed by these companies and by the state - get to know your neighbors, form renters and homeowners unions, start and support small businesses, buy from farmers markets and worker co-ops, and come together to take care of the physically and mentally ill in your community. It's not easy and it's very inconvenient at times, but building up these small communities is the best way to weather this storm that will only get nastier. The Fall of America is going to be like the Fall of Rome on PCP.

I'm 55 and I watched Happy Days when it was still originally on the air as well as the daily syndicated reruns. I was 15 when I watched the original airing of their last episode (Joanie and Chachi get married) in 1984. I recall as the very last scene freeze framed, faded out, and they rolled the end credits. I sadly thought, "That's it. No more Happy Days." And I knew right then and there that I was going to miss Happy Days. Sure enough, 40 years later, I still do.

Never, ever knew there was an extended version of the Happy Days theme. Learn something new every day. R.I.P. Erin Moran...

The only reason why I cry over this song is cause me and my grandparents used to watch this all the time me as a kid and those were the happy days.. now their happy days live on in heaven.. I have to make my own happy days now with other people

I like it how upbeat and positive this sitcom theme is just like some other sitcoms made back then like for instance family matters.

Andy Griffith should have made an uncredited cameo as one of Howard's work friends....he and Ron could have looked at each other and made "do I know you?" facial expressions.

One of the greatest shows of all time. Simple, innocent and funny

Everytime I heard the theme tune on Saturdays, we would all stop playing. Run inside n sing the theme tune and watch Happy Days and then get ice cream afterwards

When I was younger, my family had a VHS tape. This song would play during a commercial before the movie started. I have no idea what the commercial was about. But the song has been stuck in my head for probably 20 years!

As a kid, I was actually thinking about the days of the week when I saw the Great American Scream Machine for the first time at Six Flags Great Adventure. LOL

I agree it's nothing but full of drama, I love this theme it cheers me up. They need to take out all the crap shows from this generation and put this show along with all the others from the 80's, 90's and the years before.

I was born in early-1989 & loved this theme song when I was a kid. My dad loves this show simply because it reminds him of when he was in high school/etc. like that. He was born in early-1954 & I remember him always saying "There's something about 'Happy Days' that literally takes me back & I like to think of this show as like a make-shift nostalgia trip, or, a trip down figurative memory lane because this reminds me of my generation & when we were growing up, so badly...".

I feel nostalgia for a life i never lived, like those happy days in the 50's were a real thing to me and i lived them. I'm in my 20s and I can't appreciate life... it's comical in a way that I'm not living my youth and at the same time I missed a lost one that's not really mine

The Happy Days theme (in several versions) was used as the closing theme for the show's entire run. So, for the first 2 seasons it actually had 2 theme songs.
