Can someone explain what the barcelona system" is? Because I don't think it makes sense to have a youth academy focusing on technical abilities and tiki taka playstyle for years. Only for the senior team to be implenting a completely different style of play depending on the coach. Flick likes strong, tall, physical players. Prsctically, everything La Masia lacks. Don't get me wrong, La Masia provides great talents. And Flick is a great coach. But aren't their style of play completely opposite?
