Some graphs about OTB tournaments without proper research and correlation to other players, and also some DECENT EVIDENCE about ONLINE CHEATING. Nah. I don't find the guy admirable. But, for one, having pretty much the whole chess world dunk on you has gotta leave you pretty lonely. But on the other hand, saying "ugh, lost to this clown" easily falls within trash talk. -- Just that trash talk usually works better when you're a winner, and not a loser.

I think this is one of those "Your Boos Mean Nothing, I've Seen What Makes You Cheer" situations. Hans has literally become the joke of the chess community for cheating, and he's calling you a clown. It's a desperate deflection.

Good players these days can play at the level of Stockfish in many lines. Often Magnus and Hikaru have 98% accuracy. If you want "real' chess of the kind you seem to crave go back to the 19th century, full of humorous blunders. GM Nunn in one of his books talks about this, specifically, the Carlsbad tournament of 1911, full of howlers among the supposedly top players.
