@@GR8_____ Titles are meaningless in chess. Their rating difference 130 is not so big. I have seen on tournaments how 2400 IM -s are beating 2200 GM all the time.GM is old an tired, but still plays on local tournaments to have veteran prizes. I know players who are 2200 without any title and even dont go for any title even tough they could fulfill requirements of CM or even FM if they work hard. But they dont want it . Why ? It does not give them anything. They are ameteurs, club players, they enjoy playing chess on local tournaments, occasionally beat someone who is higher rated, discuss chess with friends, joke about it and they dont have illusions that they can improve to pro 2500 level.

@@stagna1959 I mean even if their rating diffrence is almost the same anyone would be happy beating a GM right?Plus people who are very high rating with no title just cant get it.They want it but they cant, cause of school or maybe they dont want to play over the board. What GM is exactly 2200?U make no sense.2400 IMS beating 2200 GMS?According to fide rules the requirement for GM must be 3 norms and defintely above 2200.

The fact that Hans Niemann is even allowed to participate in these tournaments is a disgrace. He literally plays like sub 1900 level without his cheats. His rating is so disproportionate compared to his performance OTB - I don´t think I´ve ever seen a game from him which is above 1600-1900 level in FIDE OTB tournaments, but online he´s suddenly 3000 rated. Sure, what a clown 🤡

This game was actually pretty good from him. Despite the very poor rook endgame play with few seconds on the clock, that every gm can misplay with such low time. Saying he's playing like a 1900 is pure nonsense. He would murder any 1900 in any otb format. He just lacks experience in endgames which is acquired over time.
