I had SO MUCH FUN making Monkey Bread with my Mom!
Here are the ingredients and recipe so you can try it at home:
Monkey Bread Ingredients:
• 2 cans Pillsbury Grands biscuits
• 1 ½ sticks of butter
• 1 ½ cups of brown sugar
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• Cinnamon
Recipe:
• Preheat oven to 325°
• Spray your bundt pan with non-stick baking spray and flour the pan
• Cut each biscuit into 9 minis by slicing two times across in both directions
• Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl
• Roll each mini into a little ball and toss in the sugar and cinnamon mixture until well coated
• Melt the butter and sugar and stir until well blended
• Layer in the sugar & cinnamon-coated biscuit balls
• Pour some of the butter and brown sugar mixture over each layer
• Repeat layering a few times
• Leave room in the bundt pan for the dough balls to rise as they cook!
• Cook at 325° for 45 minutes
• or until a fork towards the center of the pan feels like it’s cooked firm enough
• The edge pieces will be nice and slightly crispy while the center should be softer
