The point is not upon which calendar day the LORD GOD sent us HIS SON JESUS, but that HE did send HIS SON. Are we actually going to fight about the day of GOD's GIFT?

And if your point is against the Christianization of that which was once pagan, is that not what has happened to us who are redeemed in CHRIST? Have not we, who were enemies of GOD because of our sin, been transformed into heirs of GOD's Grace in JESUS. If however the point is that you believe their is no CHRIST and no SAVIOR, then we can not complain when anyone transgresses against us. For without ONE to pay for our sins, we all perish in the end and life is just a pointless exercise. CHRISTmas is the Recognition of GOD's, ever before unheard of, GIFT of Mercy in the reality of HIS being JUST. The cost of sin is death. If I pay for my sin by my own death, nothing of me remains. JESUS not only paid for our sins, but GOD Raised JESUS from the dead and JESUS was assumed into Heaven where HE sits at GOD's right hand. Our HOPE is secured in that our debt is paid. The very understanding of that should be so transformational in us that we repent of our sin and wish to sin no more. Perfected in CHRIST - That is GOD's offer to us. HE came to us as an unassuming baby. The DIVINE Mystery of GOD become man to die in our place. So let us celebrate THE GIFT every moment and every day, lest we come to believe in the unattainable salvation by self. Every person comes to the limit of their own ability. It is something which or CREATOR has always known since man chose sin. To deny what GOD has GIFTED us in JESUS is to try to save ourselves. GOD BE PRAISED
