Hannah's version of "No Good Deed" is the version of Elphaba that I've always wanted. Not quite evil, but angry and tired and fed up and if you pushed her, her going evil is purely your fault and you will feel it for the rest of your existence.

Yeah, no disrespect to Idina (she's fantastic, seriously), but Hannah performs this so damn well, and even though she's never actually evil, and just pulls a ploy to hide away from everyone that blames her for... well, everything, in this moment she's ready to be the wicked witch they all think she is, and it's so believable! Plus, I loved her choices and adlibs. So good!

Besides her incredible voice, I think Hannah’s phrasing and line reading is just stunning. Every time I watch the performance and she says “Let all Oz be agreed”, I get INSANE CHILLS.

Her pronunciation on “wicked” gave me chills

So, Hannah’s version of this song made me realize a lot about Elphaba. No Good Deed is Elphaba finally realizing that, without meaning to, she’s been the villain in everyone’s story but hers. Shes finally embracing the role of villain that has been placed on her, and Hannah totally embodies this.

I was able to see her on broadway live when I saw wicked. She is such a new, modern and contemporary version of Elphaba. She was 100% the whole show. She brings so much edgy and difference to the character. She is not a traditional Elphaba and I love it. Hands down one of the best Elphabas.

I saw her in January of 2020 she’s really different from other elphabas, its like she puts a lot of emotion into actually being elphaba rather then just singing the song

Her voice is unreal and her acting is amazing even in a non-character setting. I can’t believe I’d never heard of her before now. Wow.

This is the song that define good elphabas. The great climax of the show, when she finally become the wicked witch of the west. what a good performance btw

Hers is the only one I've ever heard that ends on the opt up, usually if they do it they start the 'OOO' up there and come back down. I like it this way, it sound more... anguished, I guess.

Ive never heard her before and holy crap her acting and vocal control is INCREDIBLE.

If there is anyone I want to play Elphaba for the Wicked movie it is HANNAH CORNEAU!!! She is phenomenal. This is my favorite song from Wicked because of Hannah! The hair on my arms stand up, i have goosebumps on goosebumps every time i hear this.

Side note: Hannah corneaus mixing ability rivals that of Jessica vosks (who is the mixing QUEEN 👑) and that's why she is one of my favourite elphabas 👏

Wicked is definitely one of my favorite musicals. And you HAVE to go see Wicked when Broadway reopens. It’s a definite must see even if you know all the songs and the storyline- the production is just amazing! I’ve seen it a couple times on Bway and I don’t think I can ever get tired of it. It’s so good!

The song comes out of a place of pure pain, pure betrayal and pure anger at the realization of it all. Needs to be sung accordingly. 💚💚💚

I SAW HER ON BROADWAY I went to New York in my birthday about 2 years ago and went to see wicked with her as Elphaba It was magical!! I swear everyone was amazing, but Hannah was just incredible! I'm a huge fan of her now ❤❤❤

She and Jessica vosk remind me of each other, not in sound but in vocal control, knowledge, and talent!! Love them both!!

She has one of the most AMAZING voices I’ve EVER heard. EVER.

She was my 1st Elphaba and she was incredible. People were quick to compare her to Jessica Vosk but I think she held her own

I hate how they compare everyone to Vosk

This version of no good deed always makes me sad that these versions aren’t on Spotify so I can’t add them to my musical theater playlist

I thought I didn't like that song. But now, I do. Hannah Corneau must have cast a real spell here.

I got to see Hannah on Broadway and her voice was amazing throughout the entire performance, but she is probably one the best ACTING Elphababs I’ve ever seen! She made some amazing choices!

I was lucky enough to see Hannah as Elphaba in November 2019 and I was completely blown away. Her range and emotion she conveys while singing is mindblowing. I was completely immersed in the story because she made the audience FEEL every word she sang. Simply phenomenal.

I get chills every single time I hear hannah sing this song, it's for one an insane important moment in the Wicked story, but also Hannah is singing this soooo impeccable and full of (her) Elphaba's emotions

THIS is how Elphaba should be performed. A great balance between acting and singing. Not another cookie cutter showy vocal athletics version, she makes it hers. It’s more of an operatic style interpretation, with varying levels of intensity and a really nice rise & fall/back & forth. I’d rather watch this 100 times, than hear one more Defying Gravity cover. This song is HARD.

I'm such a low-key fan of Hannah Corneau eversince they caught my attention in RANGE covers. I have no idea about singing or anything about the technicalities of it but I got the same chills when I first whatched this. Love seeing you reating to them 💙

I'd never heard her Elphaba (and my fave is Jessica Vosk), but wow, is she impressive. That line delivery on the second "Fiyero", when she takes it up? Her line readings of "seeking good" and "ice-cold"? Her "so be it then"? The last belt? Chills. CHILLS.

I know literally no singing terms so forgive me if this isn't articulated well, but I love how the way she sang the ending of the word "supply" in the line "one more disaster I can add to my generous supply" is reminiscent of the way the notes at the end of Defying Gravity are sung. The updownupdown thing.

Binge watching Hannah’s videos (again) and see a reaction video to one of my favourite versions of no good deed! Oh my gosh I have never been this early before!!

hannah is absolutely incredible, she holds a v special place in my heart bc she was the elphaba i saw when i went to nyc and saw wicked. it was the first ever broadway show i saw and was honestly the best experience i’ve ever had, she’s without a doubt one of my favourite elphaba’s along with jessica vosk. i feel so fortunate to have been able to go to nyc and to see wicked especially with such an amazing cast, smth ill never forget! also a note- she was even better when we saw her than she is in this vid... which is very hard to believe.

I saw Wicked when I was 13 in the summer of 2014 and fell in love. I was already into singing and musical theater but it cemented my love and appreciation for what goes into it. I ended up applying to and getting into the art school in my city which happens to be the first public performance and visual arts high school in the U.S.A. I was a vocal major and I now have 4 years of classical Vocal training. I also got to do some musical theater, jazz, and others while there and it was an amazing experience. It's a joke between my best friend and me that we would have hated high school if we didn't go to an art school.

I went to see a touring production of wicked in 2008-2009. It was both my first musical I ever saw live that wasn’t a school production, and it was a present from my parents only 6 or so months before my mom passed away. I will always remember that birthday.
