I saw number 500, 600, this one and 715 , miss Hank everyday !
Classiest man to ever play the game
RIP Hank Aaron
He did it quietly and through consistency. He never had a huge season like Ruth, Mantle, or Mays, but could always be counted on for 35 home runs a year.

Plus he was underrated in the field. Solid defensively
for Hank 👍👍👍👍RIP Brother.
one day earlier, 25 miles away, Xenia, Ohio lay in ruins from a devastating F-5 tornado...part of the 1974 Super Outbreak of tornadoes....
My dad’s still salty that he did it against the Reds lol. RIP Hammerin Hank

No, that would be Babe Ruth. Hank played nearly 1,000 more games than Ruth, so if Ruth would have played another 1,000 games, he would have had over 1,000 home runs, way more RBI's, more hits, and possibly more World Series wins. Hank has 1 world series title. Ruth has 7.
Great
It's funny how people say "such and such record will never be broken", but every record absolutely will be broken eventually. Anything that happened once, will most definitely happen again.

Vander Meer’s two consecutive no-hitters will never be broken. A pitcher would have to pitch 3 in a row. There is no way that today’s managers would even let a starter pitch 3 consecutive complete games much less a no-hitter.

@@theworldwariioldtimeradioc8676……some aren’t even allowed 3 consecutive innings. The original comment was referring to all time records being broken. In this case it would be Ryan’s 7 no hitters never will be broken. Vander Meer’s 2 just happened to be in a row

Yes, that is Bill Buckner in left field.

Babe Ruth is still the greatest baseball player of all time. Hank Aaron played nearly 1,000 more games than Ruth did, so if Ruth played another 1,000 games he would have had well over 1,000 home runs, more RBI's, more hits, and probably more World Series titles. He won 7 world series. Hank has 1 world series win. It's not even close. Ruth is the greatest player ever, and Ty Cobb is close behind him. Hank Aaron is up there, but he's not even close to as good as Babe Ruth.

Takes way more than Steroids to hit a homerun. Bonds had the best eye in baseball. Testosterone was first synthesized in Germany in 1935 and was used medically to treat depression. Professional athletes began misusing anabolic steroids during the 1954 Olympics, when Russian weightlifters were given testosterone. Steroids finally made it to baseball's banned substance list in 1991, however testing for major league players did not begin until the 2003 season.

@elemental fraction Hank played 23 seasons. Bonds played 22. If they didn't make Bonds a Scapegoat, he probably would have played way longer. They feared Bonds in his 22nd season...132 walks. 28 HR. In 1976 they walked Hank 35 times. 10 HR. Bonds stole 5 bases in his final year. Hank stole 6 bases in his final 5 years. Only a small mind shyts on Bonds. Bonds was the greatest baseball player in the history of the world. Related to Bobby Bonds, Reggie Jackson and Willie Mays. They walked Bonds with the bases loaded in a 2 run game. Come on. It is not even close.

@salamisumo2 he lived all those years and passed away shortly after the jab. Keep lying to yourself. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands worldwide, died after the jab or died from being treated with remdesivir. Old age plays a part, too, but that so-called pandemic was the biggest sham ever, and it allowed election fraud on a massive scale never seen before in American history.
