In northern New Jersey, we had a sawmill set up just about like this one. We were in business for over 60 years. The mill cut its last log in Jan.'83 when a fire in the mill took the plant down but it is great to see a mill like this still in operation. Our main saw was 72" and we had an upper 36" saw for the larger logs so we could cut the big logs on the same pass. I'll post some snap shots of it for all to see. Thanks for a great video.

Great to see a small home made mill running well (again). I have owned and ran a similar mill for years (bought it as a basket case , disassembled and minus an engine from an Amish family). Not so many years ago a couple of families could have made a decent living working type of mill together. It is really at least a two man job. Gary
