Planet Ocean is my favourite. It's near perfect. Make it 1mm thinner and a tapered bracelet, it'd be perfect ! And maybe date wheel at the 6'oclock position :)

For me I think if I could justify it I would be looking at the ProProf but that ultra deep looks epic.

I love the look on the 300m. When it's indoors the blue is quite conservative which is well suited for office environment that won't attract attention from non watch people, but in other videos I've seen when it's outside the reflective metal like dial really pops and the fume dial adds a lot of contrast and gradient of blue reflecting off bright sunlight.

He said it's the worst one and they messed up the blue on the 300m. I really don't get it. I also think it looks amazing.

Another interesting thing about this release is that as you go deeper in the depth specs for each watch the blue colour darkens on the dials.

My favorite is the PO 39.5

I like the seamaster professional in the line up. However, I guess I’m partial to the SeaMaster professional anyway… I’m saving for the most recent James Bond edition… Love the sword hands.

I like that the Seamaster 300 didn’t have any changes besides the color scheme (and the case back, take it or leave it). Iconic design that doesn’t need excessive dilution.

Thanks for the review. As a new owner of the Seamaster 300 Heritage, I need to point out that you missed one major change to the watch - a ceramic bezel.

I guess I'll take a trip to the Vancouver OB.

When are these watches truly releasing, specifically the the 300 heritage model? I can only add the watch to wishlist.

Wow still wearing your quartz seamaster bond? Any updates on that watch? Have you have it serviced or polished, how did it hold up?

Agree with you that the 300 was the best of the releases. My only complaint is that they don’t have the lume on the bezzel like they do with the standard models.

I agreed. Seems they are being lazy. Can they not shave 1mm off the PO thickness? Can they not put the glide lock clasp in most? 300 no tapered bracelet? Oh and one more thing, for the love of GOD, daytime lume should be white. Not yellow, not brown and especially NOT green in a luxury timepiece!

The date wheel on both the 38mm AT, WT and 300M are offset to the right when both displaying the 8th. Is this a defect or have Omega just not factored in single digit dates?

Is the shade of Blue the same on the ceramic bezel and strap as the current Blue Seamaster 300m diver ?

I'm too bothered by the date not aligning on the center of the window in the Aquaterra 38 mm 😂

This celebration might've been underwhelming were it not for the Ploprof. This way however you get a nice family reunion where everybody dressed in matching colors and oh, look, that crazy adventurer cousin we almost forgot was in the family joined as well. 🙂 Did they say when the Ploprof will become available? I think Fratello said Nov 2023. That seems very far away.

I put a downpayment for the ultradeep. I love that the dial has a accurate map of the bottom of the mariana trench. When you flush the blue light where you can fint the omega logo is where the submersible went. Luv the story behind the design.

@FABM27 unfortunately no discount. Nowadays ADs dont give discounts compared before. Maybe with old models but new ones they dont. Omega throw in some freebies instead. Depends how known you are to the ADs even how you talk to them I got a free rubber straps same as the blue black ultra deep.

Amazing dial releases from Omega - would have loved a bracelet update, but can't have it all I guess!

I think I know why the dark blue and baby blue color combination works for both planet ocean models, but not for the 300m. If you look closely you can see the indeces and the hands of both planet oceans being dark blue, whereas on the 300m, the indeces and the hands are bright/bare metallic. Hence there's more contast and that gives a stronger look to both planet oceans, but you get none of that with the 300m

I always liked the seamaster 300 how the bezel is lumen but this new model it's not which is disappointing for me. I think the seamaster diver is luminous bezel on this varient.

Don't get you critic on the Seamaster Diver 300. I could imagine to take the Seamaster 300 over the Bond watch, but the washed out indices should imitate the sight you have under water. There is all blue. The dial is more alive at the Bond watch in compare to the vintage Seamaster 300 (sun dial).

Thx for sharing, they look a lot better in your vid than any other images I’ve seen. The only one I could imagine owning is the aqua terra as I find the baby blue lume off putting on the other models except for the silly sized watches. That said I’m guessing the proploff will be amazing in the flesh.

Omega goes blue all the way. Could be due to the great popularity of its blue Snoopy Speedmaster and the rage on Tiffany Blue colour watches.

The one with a rounded dial looks like it has date wheel misaligned.

Throw that Ultradeep in the oven for a few hours and you could probably get $3 million for it.

Ploprof, is so friggin ugly, that I love it. That's it's charm. I think others think the same. Omega went nuts with their price increases.

Having the sub uv thing on the dial is obviously unforeseen coincidence. Another KZreadr making a video about James Cameron Rolex because he has been in the news taking about the incident, is pretty exploitative…

It is a weird coincidence. Obviously they were working on this dial/model for years.

The new look in the Sea-masters just look like the dials fogged up from water intrusion. Not for me

It'sd hard for me to believe Omega is having a diamond jubilee for the Seamaster and they...did this. Here's some of our lineup *in blue*. mmmkay. If they just would have leaned into the Return of the Ploprof I think it would have been a bigger deal, but it's just confusing now. And that really highlights the mistakes they have been making with the Seamaster line. Technically the Railmaster is in the Seamaster line, why is there no Railmaster here? The reality is that Seamaster doesn't have an identity, except "these are our water resistant models", and this dull birthday party is the direct result of that.

All very nice, but nothing outstanding for the 75th, a wasted opportunity....that said I'd happily sport any of them....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚

Nice dial, but becoming boring.

Omega lover here. I personally dislike these dials, with the exception of the ultra deep. The graduated wash of the blue reminds me too much of Seiko's limited edition models, especially the Save the Ocean series. Just google "Seiko Save the Ocean". It is a page full of them. The treatment makes them look cheap, and it is an unnecessary move for Omega. They do so much better with their usual solid and deep colour treatment, that play brilliantly in sunlight, showing great depth and layers in the paintwork.

Such a pity you didn’t read any other reviews before making this since you might have actually learned something. Like how the shades of blue you so clearly dislike are meant to represent the depth of Ocean relevant to the depth rating of whichever particular model. So in the same way that Diver 300m is relatively blue, the Ultra Deep is darkest because it’s the ocean at its deepest. 🤦🏻

Color is cool but in typical Omega fashion, boring, 🥱. This is the best they can do to celebrate 75 years, pathetic. That's alright, I'll just wait until next year when they come up with another excuse to put out another color!
