I buy a pack of 5 boxes(500 matches) and they comes from india, it was a few cents only, now imagine how low is the salary of those hardworkers must be to allow such ridiculous price for a product coming from the other side of the world.

For a small match box, how many people have to work, how many processes will need. Great, all ages of people working with a great zeal. Wonderful ❤.

the manager was given 25 Cent bonus and spent the afternoon dreaming what he was going to do with so much money!

@@yatriengineer7446 Everything hand made uses machinery of some sort. If you bake a hand made cake you are still using an oven and a bowl and a mixer. Sewing a hand made suit uses a sewing machine. Hand made means not a huge automated factory. Though this is still a factory with a lot of manual labor I'd say.

How many hours do these workers do per week, what does their hourly rate of pay work out at, do they receive holiday pay & sick pay, pensions ???

They are old cause their salary is not enough to have savings and retire, entire families could work there just to have enough money to survive.
