No vans were always made out of canvas. this is an awesome leather custom made version of it but nothing like what they are supposed to look or feel like.

tell u a story about Vans, last pair i got was late 80s, then i got a pair in 2008 and was shocked by the quality. Vans are crap now, back in the day they were heavier.

Agree, though was a great job

Would have been cool to stitch the outside of the midsole , so there’s no separation after wear. That’s the number one thing I hate about regular vans

Given.... how many years the Company has been around... the time and money put into R&D while experimenting with various materials and suppliers, etc.! They've profited exponentially over the years... Enough, to develop and/or find a quality adhesive with tightened quality control to ensure EVERYONE recieves a Quality Product that can be cherished without remorse!!! But... hey, it's "only" $50...
