Vans doesn't sell wide. I looked on their website. However, SUPRA has a low top that looks and feels just like a classic vans shoe, with even more comfort. So I have been kicking around with those and im really happy. But Vans has some many cool colorways and styles, I wish they made them wider.Froggie McLillypad

I'd love to see how the manufacturing process differs with the Pro Skate range. I've skated standard Vans my whole life and just finished skating my first Pro Skate pair, the Style 112 Pro, and I love them! The waffle under the toes is so thin to allow more board feel while the heal is like skating on a cloud! The build quality is so much better that they feel like they can't possibly be made in the same way as the standard shoes, an example being the flatness of the sole when compared to the slightly concaved waffle on the standard range. Please never discontinue the Pro Classic range!

Steve seems like such a nice guy. Gotta love a friendly personality.

i miss the old Vans, you know, the ones that were "made in the USA" and not an American shoe brand made in some other country because of cheap labor. the US made Vans had soul, had character. i wish i could go back to the 80s, my teens, bmx, skateboard, and of course Vans "made in the USA".

This is one of the saddest videos Ive seen in a long time. When I heard they were moving production to China it made me sick to my stomach. NOT VANS... Vans was a California staple, even going beyond Skateboarding. Back in the day you could go down to the factory and buy shoes from them. It was a part of the culture in California. Those folks from the beginning of this video lost their job to underage Chinese slave laborers. Thanks for all you do for Skateboarding Vans, but sadly I think its only because of Van Doren staying on board even though they sold out to a major corporation. I believe when he passes they will stop doing all they do.

Did you even look at the IQ/Wage map in the link I provided ? ...Wages is on par between Eastern Europe and China, but Chinese workforce has an higher IQ and better manual dexterity and hand to eye co-ordination all very important if you are doing manufacturing !

I'm from Eastern Europe (Macedonia) and trust me, I'd rather work in China for the minimum wage than here cause it's double the minimum wage here. But yeah, education is important and I'm currently on work and studying to become a Chef with experience so the wage will be a lot bigger.
