Handmade Puerh tea making
Ғылым және технология
I've explained how puerh tea is made many times on this channel. Let's try a different approach, learn the how to make tea just like I did, by watching. I give no explanation in this video, just watch and relax.
You can get the teas we make on our website: www.farmer-leaf.com/

I swear I just watched a full-blown independent short movie, great camera work, beautiful shots, and of course the lovely leaves, too. Loved it

@@farmerleaf61I need your advice for tea processing machine
Well... It was like time stopped during 12 minutes. The angle, all the sounds of leaves, the ending put us in a real atmosphere. You did an amazing job with this video, thank you so much ! Have a good day with your family William !
I liked when the little guy was helping. One of your best videos. Cheers!
Those videos put me to sleep. So relaxing. I hope to make tea one day

same! i dream of growing my own and processing the tea many different ways
Wow. As much a I love to hear your thoughts (that's what got me hooked to your channel and then to your shop), this is a masterpiece of silence! The composition, the lighting, the rhythm of editing - all perfect. And sipping on your mu yun was a lovely way to augment the experience. Wish you would make more videos, but grateful for what you make - the world needs your camera (and your teas).

Thank you very much! I will be more talkative in the future videos.
Great video! The younger generation "helping" added reality to a well done (as always) video. Thanks
Tôi đã từng làm chè như bạn đã làm bán cho người hồ nam trung Quốc một thời gian . ở chỗ tôi có những cây chè hàng 200 nam tuổi mọc ở trong rừng rất tiếc bây giờ không ai làm nữa
I am mesmerized! Such an outstanding documentary. I also loved the sounds. If all that beauty is in the tea (and I’m sure it is), it must be worth a fortune. Congratulations, also for the next generation tea maker: learned young is done old. The world is a beautiful place.

Thank you Michele, I hope to see you again soon in Europe!
Damn nice video! It felt like a video project of some art college stundents :D
What a wonderful production! I was surprised when you started rolling the leaves by hand! I was like, "Oh wow, he really did mean handmade puer!" Did this "fully handmade" puer make it into any of your cakes?
Very beautiful and informative video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

The environment is beautiful. Everything about this from the work itself, the location it takes place and the end result seem to be part of an incredibly meditative and rewarding experience. I also have a question for you since I would imagine you know quite a bit about tea and pu erh especially. Do you know if anyone has ever made a young or ripe Pu-erh using Japanese Gyokuro? Gyokuro is one of my favorite teas, definitely my favorite green tea and drinking a cup recently I wondered if such Pu-erh had ever been produced using it, but searching for it turned up nothing. I'd be extremely curious to try it as it has such a unique mouth-feel and flavor profile among tea I wonder if its Pu-erh would be equally unique.

The Japanese tea industry is innovating a lot these years because traditional gyokuro doesn't find an audience in modern japan. You'll now find oolong, black and white teas made of the yabukita varietal by japanese tea producers. It's a good thing for the tea industry and will lead to improvements in tea processing. I've never had a japanese raw puerh but I didn enjoy a japanese dark tea, fermented with a sake primer, very good experience, on par with high quality ripe puerh from yunnan.
Shalom Recently, my yixing clay teapot broke.. I can't use it anymore. Is there a way to fix it?
Danke sehr, in welchem land lebt ihr?
At 3:55 when you add water, What is the reason for that? I'm asking because I've heard iron (like frying pans etc.) can warp if they get a big temperature shock by using (cold) water.

he’s cleaning the woks. Woks won’t warp due to big sudden temp change, even cheap ones won’t.
can you tell me in detail the process of making pu-erh tea, i'm in vietnam

Hi! we have many videos explaining the processing of puerh tea, you can have a look!
Travis sherman. How are you
Hi William again thanks for the tea's i am enjoying them soooooo much and took from every cake samples for my chinese tcm doctor so i hope he and his wife will en joy it very much. I hope that i can be a help for you in this country where i live by promoting your traditional handmade tea process so i am telling others that pure traditional chinese handmade tea is much better than fabricated tea in a compagnie with modern machines. The fact is that you not only sell tea's but you also show on behalve of the custumer how you do it and how all these things work, and today's day people want to know where their product is coming from and how it is made, so i hope that i can help you this way to keep you and the whole family keep on doing what you all do best and that's making tea. My sincere regards to the family with love greetings Naomi Hāi, wēilián zàicì gǎnxiè chá, wǒ fēicháng xǐhuān tāmen, bìng wèi wǒ de zhōngguó zhōngyī yīshēng cóng měi gè dàngāo yàngpǐn zhōng qǔchū Wǒ xīwàng tā hé tā de qīzi huì fēicháng gāoxìng. Yes there are some. Hard to reach them though. I'm Polish but living in Sweden now. Trust me it's hard to even find someone who knows what pu-erh is.
Your videos have Gold information. Just a pity this one look a bit dark. Maybe the camera? Not sure...
