clean work,i liked the white plaster to hold fixed while soldering good idea,power engravers are better for preacision and easy ,does not tire ur hand,u know wax carving ,lost wax casting,making or shaping the gold,stone setting,polishing,a truly artist and craftman and talented too

Thanks George, Yep, using the casting investment to hold pieces in place works good, although you can't forget to protect the stones before you put the investment on. Power gravers are great; so much more precise, and you don't have to worry about sticking a graver into your hand...

l'm just getting into these 'jewellery making' vids, and l've never seen casting like this before! Only 'everything by hand from scratch' videos. No wonder the ones l've seen almost ALWAYS uses 18ct gold! lt would be too time consuming to carve, saw, and weld 14/10 ct pieces! l loved this ring btw! Those diamonds in the bottom corner are gorgeous!

theresa42213, I am confused, what do you mean by 18ct and too time consuming? I usually use 14k rose gold because it is more pink. 18k rose looks more like copper.

No. I used a platinum centrifuge casting machine. The platinum casting video didn’t turn out, and I couldn’t film it.

Julie, Never stop learning. Practice, practice practice. Don't be afraid to fail. Remember that something not tried is a failure too. Don't expect to make money at it at first; do it because you love to create and you enjoy what you do. Always be truthful with customers, and treat them how you want to be treated. Good luck. I don't know exactly. It almost doubled my time setting up the cameras turning them on and off, and making sure everything was in focus. I also spent a bit of time making sure everything was even from side to side.
