Yayyyy! I’m going to give it a try. I’m not on instagram so had no clue about this. Last two times I tried on Etsy they were gone in a minute or less. Don’t apologize for being a businesswoman. Your time is worth it. I give away most of what I make and my husband is always telling me that my time and effort is worth making some money. Lol I often think I’m not worthy of people paying money for whatever I make. Anyhow good luck and I’m heading there to look.

I love your journals and this is your business and you can choose to sell your journals however you see fit. I just clicked on the link for the blue journal and it over a thousand dollars!! I am exited for you as I know how much time and effort goes into making journals. On the flip side, if this is an indication of how much your journals are going to sell for then this puts me and others on a budget, out of the race. Thank you very much ♥️ as I mentioned in the video I definitely don’t plan on doing auctions always, and I always try to create a variety of different books and sizes at different price points. It might work out to occasionally auction, or occasionally sell on etsy- or do both (half books to etsy half to auction for example) It’s just an experiment, I get a lot of people upset that they didn’t get to view the listings at all, and that is frustrating in itself xx

@@JohannaClough i wasnt being rude at all...i stated how i loved ur journals and videos...but wondering how u come up with that price, and that i know u put a lot of time and work into them and u certainly can price them at whatever u want ...they obviously sell...but ill never be able to afford one of those ...theyre more than i pay for rent...i wasnt being rude..i was genuinely asking ...i guess u took it as rude maybe because i was questioning the price💖

I'm viewing this video late so the journals are long gone. It sure appears to have been a huge success to sell them this way! Things only sell for what someone is willing to pay for them at that time. Obviously, people are willing to pay A LOT for your journals. Justifiably so, you do amazing work, even thought they are way out if my price range. Good for you!

I don’t think they resell. I do have some repeat customers whom I have come to know a bit over the years who just like to collect. I also always have new buyers who often say they have been trying to get one for years and finally did 🥰♥️

Because she is an Australian artist in Australia, selling on the Australian eBay platform. It's her choice and prerogative to do what works best for her and what is familiar for her. She has already put a lot of time, attention, and hours into her work, as evidenced by this video. She has a global audience - can you imagine if she catered to every single person who asked for the currency to be converted? As Americans, we can be entitled and lazy, and that is not her burden. Not everything has to revolve around us and what is easiest for us. Google is free and has many currency converters that you can use to determine USD. That's what I did. Cheers.

I wish I could, as majority of my customer base is in the USA, but I don’t think I can. i think it displays in the currency the listing is made and then you just look underneath for the conversion (i’m new to ebay selling so I could be wrong)
