Handley-Page Halifax B Mk.III - Revell 1/72

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to my first video! This kit took me around 2 and a half months to build, and is my first time filming the process. I hope the video is both enjoyable and educational, I'll see y'all in the next video!

Outstanding done! Looks really good, I still consider that kit (I heard it has some shape inacuraces, but I hope these are minors) and You made me closer to the decision of build. Great effect, especially wheels, and final stages of weathering. All the best for You! ;)

Thank you very much!! I’m glad I could help with your decision :D And as far as I saw, there aren’t any major inaccuracies, it’s a really fun build!

I have the 2 different Revell Mk I/II/Gr.II versions in my stash and the eduard PE set. Have you noticed the colours on the military radio station PE are wrong ? I find it most peculiar that Eduard got that wrong. Or am I mistaken ? Also : not every dark earth and dark green seem to be the same. Yours are very bright IMO. And I have seen even brighter versions.

You’re right about the radio station colours being wrong, I did notice that and I’ve been wondering the same exact thing. In response to your feedback on the colours, I do partially agree. The dark earth I feel is a good tone where as the green seems to be too light. Unfortunately the green I used was all I had one hand at the time so when I do this colour scheme next I’ll do more research into the correct colour. I do appreciate the feedback

@@CanadianSprues I'm just not sure anymore which colours are historically right. The Vallejo dark green and earth -which I use- are very dark, I feel.

@@trikkke11 I get that. Like I’ve said before, the Vallejo dark earth (which I use) seems to be a good match. I may try Tamiya olive drab that has been lightened slightly for the green as I feel that could possibly work.
