Handel - Solomon Oratorio (1748) - May No Rash Intruder

21. Chorus
Paul McCreesh, conductor
Gabrieli Consort & Players
Recorded at the Chapelle Royale, Château de Versailles, June 26, 2012
May no rash intruder disturb their soft hours;
To form fragrant pillows, arise, oh ye flow'rs!
Ye zephirs, soft-breathing, their slumbers prolong,
While nightingales lull them to sleep with their song.

    Thank you for posting this wonderful chorus, Handel is one of my favourite composers and conjures up this music so beautifully, can hear the nightingales and catch the scent of the flowers

    Nicely performed. The conductor brings out the true feeling of this song. Is there a full version for this video? Would really love to watch it
