There's got to be a video somewhere you're supposed to have badge cams on and then the car has a cam front dashboard or rear view mirror and why wasn't there an officer standing by the vehicle there's always supposed to be one or two officers standing by the vehicle if there's quite a few more officers around the same where is Street footage there's got to be some kind of cameras on poles or something or someone's doorbell ring cam or something where's the hard drive you should have some type of video from beginning to end and that end is where you go into the garage of the police station and your video there as soon as you pull in so something ain't right I feel sorry for the family you have my blessings and my sympathy this is foul Play

Are you saying that there's a whole lotta room back there, for him to squirm around, dig into his pocket, pull out a gun and even tho he's left handed, shoot himself in the right temple. I'm assuming, it's a really tiny gun because if they searched him twice, it may have fallen thru that hole, that was in his pocket. I'd also like to know how they found the weed on him but not a gun, like I said, it must be a really small gun, smaller than a bag of weed. Also they said that they heard a thump, shouldn't they have heard a gunshot, or was that the thump, that they heard! Act out that whole scenario and see, if it's possible.

This also occurred in the 80s with a young man named Michael Taylor in Indianapolis. Police claimed that the gun was hidden in his shoe. Bullshit!!

Did they find powder burns on the mans hand/body. Muzzle burn on his temple? If there was a muzzle burn to the temple that would indicate that the gun was place right close to his head if not up against the temple. I normally take the cops side but in this incident it seems suspect, No way he could have done this himself. Hmm. Any other details on this since this first came out? Will be checking.

Where is the body cam and car footage ?

this is a 12 year old case.. I was surprised that there was witnesses and video and audio evidence that cleared the officers of any wrongdoing in this incident. By the account of the incident, Carter falsified his identity originally to the officers and was quickly frisked and then put into the patrol car WITHOUT handcuffs. Once it was determined he was in fact a wanted criminal he was taken out of the patrol car, handcuffed and re-searched and nothing found. Witness testimony and video and audio from the second patrol car determined that neither officer could of been at the vehicle Carter was in when he died, the doors were closed and the windows were up. The small .380 firearm Carter used to off himself had been stolen in Jonesboro and he likely stashed it in the back of the patrol car the first time he was placed there without handcuffs. So an embarrassment to the police for being soft and nice not finding the gun but had Carter not falsified his identity they would of known of his warrants and properly arrested and searched him in the first place.

That is why I will always keep on saying, guns are not the problem but people using them are. Where in the world can someone shot him self in the head(right temple) when his hand are handcuffed at back? Not even an expert can do that, And where did he get the gun if they searched him twice and the only thing they (cops) found was drugs, if they managed to find the drugs, how did they miss to find a weapon which is big than the drugs? Note: To me someone other than the boy they arrested had to pull the trigger .
