Wonderful looking chair! I like all the interesting little techniques and tools needed. Regarding staining to match or not.... I'd rather not. Best to let it build a natural patina. Awsworth stuff Laura! 👍🤗

Hey Tim! Lol is it raining there today🤣thanks for taking part of your day to see this project reach completion. I agree I prefer no stain, the natural patina appears in a few years and is really lovely. Hugs to you🤗💖

😁 I woke up at 3:30am and I went outside then made coffee. I'm on a property security assignment in an empty house watching you and hurricane news and Warlanda. Trying to keep up with everyone. I have two of them chairs that need fixing. I don't have time but over the winter I might. In all honesty, some crafts and gardening stuff brings me down because I was deep in it before the divorce. I hate being reminded of that part of my life because I was treated as waste and been in survival mode since. So I am not eager to devote time to arts and crafts nor working with animals. I haven't spent time with friends since labor day and I am fighting depression. I have a confrontation coming up at the end of the month with a crooked real estate attorney over a property that one of my family members owns. I am trying to stay focused on that because I don't want anyone losing a home as I did. I hate conniving and intimidating people and this lady caused my sister to lose her tenants because she went after the tenants kids. I will try and do a video about it later today. 🙏

Mornin’🤗Marius💖 It’s a very long video, which I suspect only folks who really want to fix furniture and my friends will actually watch; S0 thank you. Divorces are horrendous. I had a farm and Goats and beautiful mountain land. I ended up selling it to pay him back his portion. This event changed my life for the better; tho I still miss my Goats. When a partner dies it’s also hard to do the activities once shared. Bob and I went birdwatching almost every day. Being up on the mountain the other day for the 🪶🕊banding was bittersweet. Small ❤️‍🩹steps. If you do choose to fix the furniture and get in a tangle let me know if I can help or answer questions. 🙏🏼🤗💖

You have some nimble fingers ! How many days did it take to do this one ? I lost track of the subtle clothing changes with all the edits. You're getting good with these videos. You have the experience to be considered a "Master Crafts-person". A natural teacher you are. You kept this interesting. ;-)

Good morning and 🙏🏼🤗for watching! Total of 5 days (a few hours each day) many interruptions, 😆 could’ve kept the same clothes. Since you’ve done seat weaving, I take this as a big compliment; what I shared made sense, was interesting enough to keep watching. Lots of edits and shortening and still its long! We made it to Wednesday, hope the rest of your week is great! 💖

@@LVSpeedweLL5 days is a good pace. I was interested in how you would show to do those tricky diagonals. I was guessing and hoping you only worked on it a few hours a day. Much easier on the fingers. If I tried doing one today, my fingers would cramp up in a couple hours. And I would be doing a lot of getting mad and coming back later. Best to be relaxed for weaving the cane. It can be soothing, once the rythem is found. Every piece resonates differently. 🤗💖
