The layout you chose has so much more movement and it’s much more interesting. I really like this pattern and your color choices. Oftentimes your color choices are far more interesting and attractive than the ones on the front of the pattern! That’s great because it encourages people to try their own color combinations and not to be constrained by the picture, and it shows how the interaction of the blocks can change simply because of different color choices.

I came into KZread this morning with just a few minutes to spare before I head out to the bank and the courthouse to pay our taxes. And then I saw this new video from Jordan Fabrics. I froze for a moment thinking should I watch now or later? Of course I watched NOW! The bank and courthouse can wait. So what if it's 93 degrees when I head out. Donna's Quilt videos come first! And I'm so happy I watched because this quilt is a beauty!

I appreciate how you make every video standalone as though we don't regularly watch your channel. Seeing you explain how and why you do things every time really helps it sink in. Also could you maybe make like a 10 hour ASMR compilation of you cutting fabric?😂 😂

Love all the videos. Donna, you taught me how to quilt. I'm so glad you decided to video your quilt making. Nobody explains quilting better (in my opinion). Thank you! Maybe it is time for Matt to put a new cover on your ironing board. I've been seeing a lot of rips. Maybe he could even do another ironing board video. I made my ironing board from watching Matt's tutorial. Also, could you make the Cozy Quilt Designs "Tear Drops"? I am sure it will turn out wonderful in whatever fabrics you decide. I would like to make it, but I want to watch you (Donna) make it first. Thanks! I hope I'm not being too demanding! Lol

Neither the pattern nor the fabrics spoke to me but, as always, I enjoyed this video. It’s because of you, Donna, supported by your crew. You always approach patterns and fabrics with enthusiasm and your directions are always impeccable. And your comments are always insightful. So, thanks to all for the time and effort put into these videos. It’s always a privilege and a joy to watch your offerings. And I think one of the special benefits of watching a video with fabric and pattern that don’t happen to speak to me is that I have a wonderful chance to think hard about about design and color ways. I think sometimes thinking about what your don’t resonate to is every bit as important as thinking about colors and patterns that grab my attention. Trying to understand the why about the what is good for my brain.

Fun quilt pattern. I liked this layout best too so it was nice seeing it finished.

I would have quit quilting long ago, but your video’s like this one makes me download the pattern and knock one out, the kicker always being the backing and binding, not a fan of binding but that is because when finished zero stitches can be seen in the binding… going to just learn that a nice top stitch is okay to see one day, I also would have spent WEEKS laying that out using b/w photo’s, looking forward to being a layout natural like you are. The inner white boarder was instantly the first thing I thought was icing on cake.

Do a top stitch on your binding using a color in the quilt you like it really comes out pretty

I like the second one. The diagonal one. I like how you show us several ways to make a pattern.
