My issue is why the guy isn’t saying anything. I like both girls. Obviously I don’t know them personally, but I feel like they’re both decent people. Hyeri seems hurt because she was still hopeful and So Hee seems confused about the timeline but she affirms he was single when they started dating.

Edit: the main problem (despite this whole thing being made public) is that the guy didn't and is not saying anything he made a fake promise to hyeri who knows if he told soo hee they had he had ' *plans* ' now both the girls are 'fighting' and that guy (whatever his name) is ain't doing a thing. 😂

Honestly even if jun yeol cheated on her, just consider it stepping on a dog poo and brush it off. They were not meant to be then. Better now than after she is married or have kids. She will improve her acting skills harnessing the emotional turmoil from this experience. I would say no need to feel bad for Hyeri, this is one of her trials and wishing her the best.

Honestly i’ve stayed neutral on this whole thing, why? because its none of our business. Ryu and hye ri were in a relationship for a long time and I think what people fail to realize that the relationship ends before an official break up. He may have already lost feelings long before they broke up but of course a break up, especially in a long term relationship, isnt something easy to initiate. Hye ri never directly attacked hsh in her post but of course if hsh is receiving hate related to the topic she will say something about it. Ryu and his PR team werent in the right for staying quiet but its also understandable why they might have thought staying quiet would be the best choice. Ryu, Hye ri, and hsh are all human and they are allowed to feel the way they feel. Nobody cheated or did anything wrong, people just lost feelings and ryu happed to move on faster than hye ri it seems. In the end its all their personal life.

@@potatosaladforten by some reports say Ryu and Hyedi broke up back in June of last year. He didn't attend her bday party, so that says a lot already. Him and HSH met, for the 1st time, in November so that is 6 months after breakup. The question is why did the "official" announcement done in November instead back in June? As for why people need to announce that they are dating or breaking up is beyond me. Seriously I think K dating culture is soooooo weird and intense.

I think this situation would've been dealt differently if people didn't call SoHee a homewrecker, which made her desperately defend herself. But it also made her realise the dude wasn't going to ever speak up for her so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise

although it was wrong for Hyeri, I don't blame her. She's a person, and people get emotional. What if during their relationship, RJY was already moving on? Perhaps RJY fell out of love and took him long to finally break up because 8 years is actually a lot to consider. A lot of couples that have long years relationship find it hard to break up because they think they wasted everything they invested for each other be it emotions, financial, effort, time , just everything. So it does not really mean "the break up" is the same time RJY "fell out of love". Their relationship went on many stages and the break up is the final decision. When the news came out, the former couple was already into less contact and communication months prior to it. There is no such rule that a MAN SHOULD ONLY FIND A NEW WOMAN WHEN THE PREVIOUS ONE HAS ALREADY MOVED ON. They have separated. They have different lives now. That's RJY's way of moving on and that's Hyeri's way of moving on. No one even knows the reason of their break up, only speculations. If for Hyeri she felt there was no closure as she may still be hoping to get back together, would her hope should oblige RJY to do the same? They have different feelings already-different intensity. Finally someone with commonsense. Also the way people are shaming the guy for his looks is seriously disgusting. And what people except HSH to do take the allegation of being a homewrecker and be quite. I'm pretty sure then the same people would say "if she has done nothing wrong then why isn't she speaking up". Well, if you look 'practically' into the situation, best at Hyeri and Ryun's relationship situation, we get a better judgements of the situation. 8 years! That's 8 years of dating and time wasted. I am not targeting it emotionally but practically. After 8 years, you would want to end things properly and completely before rushing into a relationship. Look no fool would let unsettle things go tolerated towards themselves and would call out in some way that they are left with a baggage to rebound. Them being 'celebrities' and Hyeri still following Ryun gets me a thing that they both still had some things to clear between them. Like Hyeri is a celebrity and the internet's attack is no joke towards her reputation. Her still following Ryun could question things. Ryun still following her could question things. This was a public relationship! Given this, Hyeri's post felt more directed towards Ryun rather than the 'Hsh-Ryun' relationship. This all started when Hsh made a comment towards Hyeri as a 'reply'. Sorry not sorry, but Hsh response is the reason for her backlash. It's not like Hyeri sent those haters to Hsh. As for HSH, It's more of a choice of words and delivery of words rather than direction of response. Response could have been better and respectful. This is what escalated the situation. The cherry on top was HSH's explanation, that is, Hyeri and Ryun whole timeline and how it was and what it was happening which strangely fed into the confirmation of her labels as homewrecker and yada yada. Now it's sort of toning down with Hyeri's letter. IMO, it's just a situation where Boy didn't clearly end/settled his past relationship well and rushed into another relationship. But Hyeri did NOT state anyone in her story. If the shoe fits, it fits - HSH initial reply is fine but the last line towards Hyeri is so unnecessary and that's where everyone sets the line. She then deleted the story the next day after admiting the relationship, making her seems guilty.

@@ikonicshawolthe new gf also delete her story even sooner than the ex, why did people call her shady? Do you recognize how hypocrite you’re right now? The ex gf is entitled to her emotions BUT she is a senior in the industry, she is a pro, she knows she has millions of followers on IG but she chose to posted the cryptic story and did the unfollowing thing. With over a decade experience being an idol/actress, she should have known that behavior would cause trouble, and she did it. Guess what? Things went as expected, people hopped on the hate train towards the new couple. The hate train started from her post, directly mentioning names or not people still speculated it and jumped at the new couple calling them names. THEN the dog holding knife story. A decent person would have clear things out and ask people or at least her fans to not cyberbully other people (what Ariana did for her ex husband), not a new story that she deleted later on? Both women acted without thinking but one got praised and one is still got picked on, got malicious comment till today? Make it make sense jeez.

There is nothing innocent about her post ,she been in this industry over 10 years ,she know anything she do or say will influence her fans /media , its funny how she posted that right after the rumors of Ryu & Hsh was spotted at Hawaii tho, she posted that and she made her fans go crazy and bash/attack/questioning Hsh ruthlessly, they didn't go after Ryu surprisingly, ,was that post really innocent? No because she later assumed she was influenced by her emotions as 'Hyeri' the ex Gf when she posted that ,so she know what she was doing, ,​@cutebunnyhops Was Hsh right for responding after receiving so much hate comment because of that Hyeri 'innocent' post?
