    Nice edit. Alden really sold me on Han Solo, and this fit perfectly with an older, more bitter Han who has lost much of his younger optimism.

    Why I admittedly think Solo was a very average movie which could have been a lot better, this was pretty good. Even Harrison's depressed "Trying not to, kid" sells this scene as believable.

    in 1977, there was no Solo movie, no EU, nothing beyond what was shown in the og film. however, Harrison Ford did a great job here showing that yes, Han did have someone he cared for in the past, someone he hasn’t gotten over just yet. as of now, we have a name and a face for who that was, but we didn’t at the time. that much subtext given through a few lines of dialogue and a sad facial expression is why i love Star Wars so much.

    Man.....that sent shivers down my back..........my only crit would have been to allow the audience to hear Han and Qiras conversation while the camera is still on Han as an adult and then fade into the scene of their reunion. This is really NICE!!! Thanks for posting!!!!

    My main problem with the actor in Solo is his height (5ft 8). He's a lot shorter than Harrison Ford (6ft 2). Ford was kind of lanky in Star Wars and this actor was stocky. I just couldn't imagine him as Han Solo no matter how hard I tried.
