I like those speaker`s, it remind me of the 90`s JBL GTI series, the GTI series was a very good speaker back in the days when they used quality material in a speaker.

@@Stereopluss enig, men nå er disse bygget inn i veggen også.
Hvordan er 12" som musikkformidlere, med eks rørforsterker?
So, I am sure those speakers sound good, because I know exactly what components they use. What rubs me the wrong way is that they claim these are custom drivers, they are not. The 12 inch coax driver is a Beyma 12XA30Nd, and the subwoofers are Dayton Audio Ultimax... The crossover network is based on Beyma FD2XA. There's not much actual "custom" here. They make some cheap MDF boxes in china, put in Byema drivers and markup the price with a few 100%.

Thats not right. Maybe it’s based on this, but this driver goes Down to 60 Hz and not 35 Hz. It’s meant to be used with sub and not alone. And the price for the Beyma driver is 550 Euro in Norway. Then you need to have crossover and MDF box and use some time to put it together. Final price 1450 Euro. Thats not a few 100 %.

@@Stereopluss I am pretty sure that is just an added sub sonic filter to the crossover.

As you see this as such an affront to your understanding of what is going on, can I suggest you go ahead and do what this chap is doing and start reaping the financial rewards with obviously no risks. It's easy to complain, it's hard to do. That is a constant in life. If you look at the retail market place this chap is trying to infiltrate his products are well placed. Do you think some of the premium brands are really worth it ? Think Dulux Paint... You're paying a lot for that dog...
Hva skjer med lydkvaliteten folkens?? 🙄
