So for those who are unaware of the full context behind the Schumacher Stig episode: Ferrari had leant them the FXX car to test on the track, but due to the sensitivity of the vehicle and how rare they were, they only did it if it was driven by a Ferrari test driver familiar with the vehicle, which was Michael. So they had him along as the guest too. Wherever you are Michael we hope you are well and happy.

At the same time this was when Ben collins was quitting as the stig so it was a good distraction from the news saying 99% sure claiming ben was the stig as well as the bbc in the big legal battle with Ben releasing his book

I don't know why I find it so strange he was one of their test drivers, but I suppose it makes sense. For one thing, there's no one more appropriate for vehicle testing than a precise German, and y'know if you've got him contracted, why not?

I've always held the belief that the Stig is not Ben Collins, nor is he Perry McCarthy, or anyone else wearing the mask. The Stig *is* the mask. The driver in there is no more than a functional part of him, like a vital organ. If you've ever read V for Vendetta, it's something like that.
