@@Alkaloid-Odin Very true, but having a near death experience in a 10,000 HP will do that, so it makes sense. Hammond stated that there was fear of brain damage, but I would suspect that his emotional control center has been thrown out of whack since that incident.

Winding yourself is no joke. On top of that, he hit his back. I've done something similar when I was skateboarding. Can't speak, can barely move. It's awful. That grunting noise james was making, from my experience, is uncontrollable. It's absolutely awful

I actually had a similar experience once when I was a boy fooling around with my friends and even though you don't see tonnes of blood and stuff like in the movies, head injuries like that are really serious.

After Hammond's first fatal crash, Jeremy took care of his wife and tried to cheer her up in the hospital. Hammond told the story and he said Jeremy might die of embarrassment if people knew this. He's a true friend, and their relationship is pure

I like how this compilation has both Hammond slightly hurting his finger building his mobile home AND Hammond being thrown from his horse AND both of Hammmond's crashes. Really covering all bases there.

Some of those injuries were quite serious; especially the one where James was holding the tow rope. He hit his head hard, you could see him go unconscious-- and well, Richard is just lucky to be alive with his two major crashes.

James' concussion is one of the scariest injuries on the show. That thud and his gag before going limp is sickening.
