Thank you Chris Deep Meaningful Articulate And utterly meaningless.... I feel lost, yet surrounded by the constant lapping of lake waves on the shore. A lake so big it mirrors the planets thoughts in its depths... It calls to me... Yawn.....

I saw this short video clip where a small section of our sky was zoomed in to show just how much starts a single point of our visible sky holds. It was an awesome and humbling video with this playing as its sound track. Well, that's how I found Hammock :)

Yes, I am "that guy" that is stuck in the 80s and 90s music and pretty much despises anything of 2000 and forward but this is BEAUTIFUL. Hard to find this nowadays in our modern era GARBAGE music.

You are so wrong. It's true that the things on the radio are garbage. But there is like 100 times as much music out there available now as there was in the 80's or 90's. Consequently there is like at-least 20 times more good stuff. Granted it may be harder to find. There are more needles but also a larger haystack. But none the less. There is way more great stuff available. If you aren't finding it its not because it isn't there its because you aren't looking properly or hard enough. Music is undergoing a new renaissance right under our noses and groups like hammock are the perfect example but in no way unique.

If you think this music is nothing more then two guys getting together and playing guitar and synthesizer, with no rhyme or reason, you are oh so wrong. You can tell the music was structured with a score, charted out, and practiced over and over till it results in the sound of any great symphony. If don't like the structure of their music or their sounds then it appears to me that you probably would not like Beethoven Brahms or Bach. Nothing has impermanence , we are only here for short time and we will all will be gone. Some sooner some later. Except the music lasts forever and is more appreciated as time goes by. Can we say the same thing about ourselves?

I totally agree these guys are our modern day Bachs and Brahms. I bet they will be widely recognized for their genus some time after their deaths.
