I recently lost a friend unexpectedly. She was a sensitive and caring young woman with a radiant personality and she knew how to make those in her life feel loved and appreciated. I could trust her with anything; we would often stay up late sharing poems and lyrics with one another, talk about our goals, ambitions, and dreams, and lend a kind ear when the other was feeling lonely. This is a tribute to my friend, Kiara, who resided in New Jersey (hence the image) and was one of the purest souls I ever had the fortune of meeting.
