    @@hyperfox0934 we used to do that in the old days of AOL chatrooms. Different symbols let things happen. Italics, bold, upside down. I'll have to go back and see if I can remember of them TY!!

    it's really encouraging to have someone actually _say_ they don't know what they are doing instead of just doing it, makes me feel better that I'm flying blind with jewelry making. books and videos are fine but sometimes you just need to hear someone else admit their lack of knowledge.     We can learn more from our failures than we can from our successes. Your video taught us to invest a little thought in advance so that the wire arms are long enough to hug the stones. It takes a lot more wire than one might initially expect.

    That was very entertaining, I think all artists have that dialog running through our minds as we work, it was fun to hear it. I also enjoyed seeing your gifts and was ooohing and aaahhhing. Reminded me how much I loved taking my daughter to rock shows when she was little, so in the middle of your vid I took a break and found a local rock show to haul my friend's kids to next month. I got on your show by accident, but now I'm a fan and subscribed. I will hauling my rock collection out. Thanks!

    Crazy and creative, great combination. I love these hammered ones! I wondered about 12 Gauge wire. Not too many demos on this size wire. I can relate -- as a kid peeling potatoes in my mom's kitchen -- I was really performing delicate cancer surgery on them and if I didn't have to cut out too many bad spots or if not too large - well, I proclaimed my potato patient to have lived!     If a small wire is needed, smaller gauge accent beads or stones small ones really do something to that stone different type of stone to Colorz at go well together just an idea. Matt, I’m so proud of you that you come on here and try something for you the first time in years no idea what you’re doing and come with it since the humor each and every time you always make me laugh and you’re the best.

    I use an old antique flat iron granny used to heat on a wood stove. Makes a great anvil for hammering!!!😅

    Re: "elbow grease" You're not far wrong. I smoke, repair, and restore smoking pipes, and nose oil is something we sometimes use. It's exactly what it sounds like; instead of olive oil or mineral oil, sometimes we will wipe a pipe on the greasiest part of the nose and then rub it into the wood.

    "Nose oil" sounds OK by me (as long as it's from the outside of the nose). I once had really painful dry lips and no chap stick on me. I wiped the sides of my nose with my finger tip and then put it on my lips. Worked like a charm.
