Just shows that it can be a ball for most of us average mortals with lowish rev rate, even though i think Roger has an ideal rev rate for hitting the pocket on just about any condition. Roger also has the beard I never had the nerve to grow, great content Charles!!!

I just punch mine up the other day. 4:25 Roger 💯 on that. Ball needs oil. I’m glad to have that option in my bag for heavy long patterns

How would you guys recommend drilling this ball with a PAP of 7.5 over and 3.5 down? I'm a 2 finger, one hand bowler.

6.5" pin-pap!! At that length do the axis of the ball (possible y and z) have a chance to flip? 6.75" is 1/4 of the circumference of a ball.

Charles, do you give lessons as well? Just curious. I love your thought process around bowling and how you see every detail. I think Roger may have been tired from hunting Pythons when he bowled against you.

As of right now, I don’t give lessons but probably something to come in the future.

For 44 feet sport tougher pattern which ball would make sense for roger style n rev rate ? Mindset or the widow 3.0?

I think this is gonna depend on the volume of oil in the pattern. I’m gonna use the 3.0 on longer and heavier oil patterns. I look at these big balls as short term balls meaning as the shot breaks down I’m not gonna struggle to try and make this ball work, I’m gonna ball down and possibly move right

Are you throwing 15lb or 14lb? I've heard a lot of the Pros are starting to drop down to 14 as there isn't really any noticeable carry difference. I just picked up an Extreme Envy and Widow 3.0 and threw a 258/236 respectively out of the box with each. Can't wait to use them for league this week.

I’m using 15lbs and roger is using 15lbs! Yeah probably as I get up in age I will consider 14.

Great video with you and Roger. I have the black widow 3.0 coming. I have the radioactive vibe. I finally learn how to roll it right. I'm 70 years old. Or this be a good ball for me right out the bag I have. The black little 2.0 hybrid and I have the raw hammer hybrid. I can go up the first arrow and I go down and in but mostly I'd like to go left. Go across the world get out of everybody's way. What do you think? Please respond. Keep up the good work man😊

The widow should definitely work well on the fresh and provide plenty of motion down lane in comparison to the other balls you currently have.

My jaw hit the floor when he said 6.5. I haven't thrown mine yet and mine is 4 3/8. Looking forward to this one.

I've bowled competitively for over 20 years and I have never used a thumb insert I've heard them explained but I still don't understand the mechanics of it. I've never had any issues with my thumb swelling or not fitting in one ball vs fitting in the other. I'm really not sure how it makes you release the ball any better for me I've just always had a good pro-shop that knows how to drill balls and never had any issues. I average 220-230 league and sport league about 220.

There are man people that do t experience swelling, but there are number of individuals that do. If your one of the lucky ones that don’t need more than one thumb size, that is awesome. But for me my hand swells and changes from the beginning of the night to the end. That’s all. Some people only need one ball to strike and spare and others need a spare ball. Doesn’t mean the other shouldn’t exist, it’s just not for you.

Mr. Roger is huffing and puffing way more than anyone should be while bowling. He might want to get himself checked out. I recently had a guy from one of my league teams resign due to needing double bypass surgery. He was breathing super hard and sweating every time we bowled and I knew something was up.

Thanks for joining, Roger! A couple great games. Just getting back into bowling after 15 years. Had to dust off my NO Mercy (OG) and Total Inferno. Just has a Widow 3.0 drilled for tomorrow night.

Also if you're just getting back into bowling look up some slightly older balls. You can usually find good deals online if you don't want to buy a bunch of 200 dollar balls
