It’s crazy I went from bowling high school league and a weekly sweeper with him to him reaching this level. Always knew he was destined for greatness.

I've bowled many Regionals with Guppy. Kyle was little back then. Seeing them cry put a tear in my eyes too. SO HAPPY FOR THEM. Congratulations, Kyle on the Win and you're engagement. Now that you got that big check, can I get some of my quarters back??😂

One of the best major wins ever by Troup. Went through the top 3 bowlers in the world. Happy for him, great guy and great for the sport.

Lanes were brutal. Kyle was the only one to keep his ball In play and stay out of deep trouble. He acted with class and deserved this win.

Credit to Kyle Troup. The way that Belmo and Simonson, (arguably the greatest bowlers on Earth) both struggled in their matches, the lanes must have been hideously hard. But Troup had no problems with them. He bowled the best. He deserved the win.

I was there and it was an amazing experience! I've been fascinated by the PBA since I was a kid in the 1960's and this was the first PBA telecast that I've ever attended in person! What a roster of hall of fame bowlers to study. The conditions were very tough and Kyle was truly the better bowler on this day. Congratulations Kyle on your major title!

The lanes were crazy hard for everyone, and I mean everyone. Andy caught fire for that one game. These are the world's best bowlers and even on the hardest lanes someone can just find it. But it's super hard to do it consistently. I watched some of the very best bowlers bowling lots of 180 and 190 games, and even a couple of 140's.

That look Belmo gave his ball rep could've cut tempered steel in half. Hated to see him struggle, but the US Open pattern is merciless. Troup found the line and never diverted much from it, as is what that pattern demands. Congrats Kyle.

Couldnt see a better guy win. He told me good luck on a tourney once. I won it. The he goes on to win this. Man destined for greatness.

When sports figures like Kyle Troup break down after winning a long awaited championship, or anyone for that matter no matter what sport they are in. It really shows how much true character that individual has. And to be quite fair, Kyle is one of the best true sportsman in the game today. He works extremely hard for everything he gets and deserves it every bit as much as anyone in the sport. And you can't ever forget the amazing charity work he does to help underprivileged people in our United States of America. Congratulations and thank you Kyle.

Simo has really become a better sport in the recent years. I think he, Tackett, and Troup are going to run this sport for a couple years to come

@@thecarrotsarecoming4711 Yes, but that's just what we see on tv. Behind the scenes, I'm sure he's still a piece of work. They did a few interviews not too long ago about who some of the players think is the most likeable and unlikeable guys on tour, and Kyle got the most for the "likeables" and Simo still got voted the most unlikeable. What's funny, too, is Simo even said himself that he's the sorest loser on tour lol so I guess being self aware and willing to admit it publicly is a step in the right direction.

I think Bowling Planet had crossed the Foul Line lol Seriously tho I wish they won't copyright strike him for uploading the full telecast videos early, PBA fans from outside the US and western countries don't want to wait for so long and possibly be spoiled who the winner is. Like me I didn't watch the 2024 Illonois Classic yet and I already found out Marshall Kent won another title.
