@Edward Vincent Laybourn Waller that doesn't negate my point that Lin doesn't look 18 at the beginning, so why does it matter if this kid doesnt look 18? It's theater, there is a suspension of disbelief. Lin isn't white either, do you have an issue with that not being historically accurate?

@Edward Vincent Laybourn Waller wow you're taking this way too far. This is a fun video made for KZread with a kid who did a phenomenal job as Hamilton. Why are you so bothered by this? If you don't like it, don't watch it. Don't know why you feel the need to put down a kid like this

Love this but why cut out the scene where Hercules, Laurens and Lafayette introduce themselves? It makes no sense because later Alexander introduces himself and mentions the trio's names 🤔
@NGGYU
2 жыл бұрын
They probably cut it out mainly because of Hercules Mulligans part, which is about boinking woman and horses, which is obviously not kid friendly and this is trying to be more kid friendly version of the 2 songs. They cut out Hercules part, but probably couldn't find a good replacement for that part, and it made no sense to keep Lafayette and Lauren's part in, but keep his part out, so it was probably just easier to cut our both parts. It also made the song shorter, since this is both songs combined.

"If you stand for nothing burr what will you fall for?" is the best roast after the whole of the cut song congratulations to ever exist.
This wasn't a kid. This was the spirit of Hamilton lol lawd the talent.
I actually cried when they didn't do all the intros for the rest of the hamilsquad and they missed more parts it made me scream like it's rage inducing when they skip parts.
When you take the lyrics, "Ooh who is this kid? What's he gonna do?" lol Great video as always!
I’m confused because they skipped the good parts but this video is still good
The age gap is hilarious between burr and ham
This song has been stuck in my head for the past 3 years because of this video, its now engraved in my head line for line.
this deserves so much more views... pure masterpiece
Okay so -the cast is awesome. Special mention to Laurens even though he doesn't speak a lot, but hey, Hamilton is great. -I love how the kid really does give the "young scrappy and hungry" vibes even if he's wearing this silky cravat. -mmmm the voices. The v o i c e s ❤️ -the scene is super dynamic exactly how I imagined it -Laurens just keeps staring at Hamilton the whole thing and I'm so here for it. -AH Hamilton did the pointing thing at the end. Thanks you One thing : yeah the "let's get this guy on the front of a crowd" and the whole "rise up" verse are John's, buuut it's okay I still like it I am enjoying this very much

who noticed after "i gotta holler just to be heard with every word" is suddenly "i am the a-l-e-x-a-n-d-e-r we are"??? ;-;
Why is this 12 year old -playing a 19 year old -befriending 3 adult men -flirting with an adult man -drinking -talking about revolution and going to college
Interesting to see that in this version, Burr joins the party in the end, instead of silently leaving the scene.

@Edward Vincent Laybourn Waller Hmm, why wouldn't I? My perception of race is not all that nuanced I'm afraid, since I'm not so very observant. I think I can confidently differentiate between black-skinned people and others (if they are not a mix, then I'm not always so sure). I can also safely recognize an Asian look, because of the eyes (again that can vary). That's it. I'm not very good at nuanced differentiation of ethnicities, since I don't really have the need to do so. It's not like anything in my life depends on it. Then again, I can mostly tell apart Japanese and Chinese, but based on clothes, not the faces.
@MrGianeta

@Edward Vincent Laybourn Waller Why? What for? Do you think it carries any deep meaning? Anyway, if I can't tell them apart, why bother? People look all the same to me more or less. there are pretty ones and non-pretty ones. Now that is a meaningful distinction.
