    Great video, just bought and watched your review. I wondered about removing drawers for more storage, glad you covered that. Prior to watching your review I was going to return it but your video changed my mind. I think this will do the job, especially for $300, mainly just bought it to store my winter deer harvest. Thanks again for an informative and entertaining review.

    Hello from California 🙋🏻‍♀️ Thank you for the wonderful review! I literally had a chest freezer in my Costco cart…but this stand freezer will be perfect for myself and my teenage son. I subscribed to your channel and set notifications. God Bless You and Have A Merry Christmas🎄🕊️🙏🏼

    Just got my freeze today and also in NC. Instructions also say two hours on setting 7 and then adjust, so, you are exactly right. Your reaction to the ice cube tray 😂 It looks like it’s for a toddler.

    I am planning to buy this unit soon, it's $299 at my Costco as of Jan 13 2024, that's a great deal.A few thoughts: - My old chest freezer is 7.3 cu feet and it's much bigger than the one you had; bigger than the new one laid on its size; it has about a 12 sq ft footprint in my kitchen; this will give me a lot more floor space. - Having cooling elements on each level takes up space but explains why this will cool quickly and will maintain even temperature throughout the unit. - If you fill it with frozen food from the old freezer your new one will reach lower temps even quicker and keeping the freezer full means it will actually take less energy to keep things cold. It takes energy to freeze things but very little to keep them frozen as long as you don't have a lot of air coming and going from the unit. So I would have let it cool down for an hour or two and then transferred my contents. - The advantage of the drawers is when you open the freezer the air in them does not leave the unit to be replaced with room air that has to be cooled down again. Only the air in the drawer you open will be affected. And the more full the drawers the more stable the temperature will remain. - I do think I might take out one or two drawers and replace with two or three sturdy, clear, plastic bins on each shelf because they allow more compartmentalizing and maybe for some things better organization -- plus I think I can finds ones that are stronger. It would be a good idea to put a sheet of thin plexiglass on the levels you take the drawers from to protect the coils. - I laughed at the ice cube tray. That's really pretty feeble!

    @@nightstringers it's okay but unfortunately it's not cooling as good and temperatures fluctuates. Doesn't matter what the ambient temperature is too. Usid to go as low as -20 then i set to -11f. Is it cold for a couple of months and now I cannot go lower than -4f. And throughout the week can jump to + 5.... very strange behavior

    @@DJ4576 yes lol. Why wouldn't it.? Now if it's a New York style, gigantic size box then it will not go to fit lol. And for the pizza boxes you would have to remove drawers anyway. At this moment I removed 4 drawers to increase amount I can store

    How did you get it to not wobble? Only 2 feet seems strange

  • @IvanRossS

    @IvanRossS

    10 ай бұрын

    It was fairly easy, but you just have to fill it up. It is pretty wobbly when it's empty and also when you pulled the door, it's so tight because it's technically vacuum-sealed. So when you pulling on the door - whole freezer will pull. And it's absolutely normal you just have to fill it up with food.
