Hamas will see Australia's latest support at the UN as a 'step forward'

Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham has slammed the government for supporting the vote for Palestinian statehood at the UN.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong has said that support for Palestinian statehood does not signal support for Hamas.
“They [Hamas], Iran and others will see this change in position of Australia, lead by the Albanese government and the UN vote as another step towards what they want to see the way in terms of the way the international community responds,” Mr Birmingham told Sky News Australia.
“Because it’s an isolation of Israel.”

Labour and liberal are two factions of the same party. I understand how much your religion ( white nationalism and capitalism) means for you, but the brown palestinians are already winning the war and all idf can do about it is retaliate against women and children. Stop worrying about gaza and start demanding an unrigged housing market for our kids in Australia.

My love and empathy only grows stronger for Israel as their allies abandon them. I am from NZ and ashamed of got vote. In what other war in all of History as had to stop before they have achieved safety and security for their country. SHAME ON BIDEN. SELFISHNESS SUCH AS THIS I HAVE NEVER SEEN. SUCH GREED FOR POWER. And, no I am not Jewish. I am a Christian and I stand with Isreal.❤

Labor party voted at the UN to prop up Palestinian migrant votes in the pending Australian Federal Election. I didn't ask them to vote that way, they must know better than me, perhaps this question should have been put to a referendum?

There have always been thousands of protesters about Bibi in Israel but there are also millions in Israel who support his position and his govt. Jews have always been known for their differences of opinion ranging from left to right to Orthodox etc but the majority stand behind Bibi despite what the western press tells you.

I appreciate the Australians who do use their own mind to discern for themselves what is best for them or not. It makes total sense to put your own nation first always but it also makes sense to side with the people who support you and your values the most too. Israel is more kind and supportive of Australia than the Middle Eastern nations ever have been. This is a time in history where people have to decide who's side they are on even if it only means you agree with them and their vision more despite being unwilling to provide any other support. Choose your enemies wisely.
