I was at a hospital appointment in Israel yesterday and the Arab sitting next to us got talking. Mainly health issues but then got on to a lot of his family who have moved abroad but found it hard and how Israel is best. In short good people who don't carry hate in their hearts can have a fine life here.

Then you will say they are occupied. If they are occupied, how did hamas came into power in Gaza? They could not have done so if Israeli force roams the place. Then maybe you will point to West Bank. It will be understandable if some Jews connect themselves to the place because of their ancestral claim and based on observation, say if foreigners go to your country and form a settlement, does it qualify as occupation already? On the other side of the coin, Israel welcomes Arab, they have Arab citizens in fact and they even let Palestinians come to Israel to work and be treated while the other side does not want any Jew in their soil at all. That alone speaks volumes already.

Something that Rania said shows me how little she knows about the history of her own home region. Arabs are not indigenous to Lebanon. The Arabs came from the Arabian peninsula (modern day Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia), they invaded/colonized North Africa and the middle east to spread Islam in 700 CE. Egypt used to be almost 100% Coptic Christian, Lebanon was Christian as well. The language spoken in these countries were not Arabic. Coptic was spoken in Egypt, Berber in Tunisia, Aramaic in Syria, Iraq, Judea, etc... Arabs are actually the colonialists. They forced a foreign language and religion on the rest of the middle east through violent invasions. Jews are an indigenous people, they have been in the region continuously for 3000 years, as evidenced by the existence of ancient Jewish temples and artifacts, its not even disputed facts. The fact that she calls Jews colonists and calls herself indigenous.... its completely wrong and sad that she knows so little about the origins of her own people.

Israelis are fine with having token Arabs just as Amaricans were fine with having token black and brown people to do the heavy and demanding jobs. Israel culled the Arabs in 1948 so such a degree that they were able to have a "democracy" - can't have a democracy if you're the minority now can you? During WWII Germans and Austrians didn't want to kill ALL the Slavs. They did want to kill all the Jews no doubt but they "only" wanted to cull the number of slavs down to a couple million, make them a slave race. Even today many Italians refer to Slovenes as "schiavi" which means slave. So yes, Israel is still very much on par with the Third Reich. Congrats.

If we call what’s happening in Gaza genocide then every war is genocide. The almost 11.000 civil casualties in Ukraine should then be called genocide too just like any other war. The meaning of the word is about intent. Is one group slaughtering another group (based on ethnicity, nationality or religion) with the intent of wiping them off the face of the earth? That is genocide. The holocaust was genocide, the Rwanda mass slaughter was genocide, this is war with high numbers of collateral damage. These could be warcrimes for which Israel will have to justify itself but not every warcrime is genocide, every genocide is a warcrime though. Given the actual meaning of the word genocide it’s much more appropriate to call what Hamas did October 7th genocide considering their purpose is to kill *all* Jews.

She just trapped in her own word-web. She said i know some of the Hamas leaders are rich and then she argued what does it link with what happened now in Gaza. At one hand she said Hamas represent oppressed people, And other hand she said Hamas leaders are rich. Oppressed & Rich, how this two words are draw parallel line? How could a oppressed one be a billionaire? The money held by the Hamas leaders could easily use to betterment for the ordinary poor Palestinian people. Those leaders could give book and pain to the poor Palestinian children instead of gun, bombs, terrorist teaching and training. The innocent people who lost their lives in the most heartbreaking way could be avoided if Hamas leaders are seriously thinking about them. And one more thing i would like to say for this lady. Oppressed people have right to revolt. But that doesn't mean they have right to revolt against innocent women and infant child. It's like the same way she talked about how israeli soldiers killing innocent child in gaza. So if israeli is wrong then other hand why not the hamas also wrong? She didn't condemn Oct 7th. So she basically supposed to support killing of israeli innocent children. So how dare she crying about innocent palestinian children? Because childrens are children, Everyone the same. If you have so much pain for a group of children then it's your human duty to show same level of pain for other group of children. Shame on her! She's one of the worst hypocrite! 😠😡

Israel didnt expel anyone until after the arabs attacked israel and lost. That’s the consequences of war What about the 800k jews that were expelled from arab countries despite NOT starting a war? @@conalodriscoll7829No, they didn’t. Most of what used to be “Palestine” (77% of it) is now Jordan. Israel didn’t “occupy” any of that or expel any of the Arabs there. The land the British ended up giving them was less than 15% of Palestine.

That 75 million people died in WW2 speaks to the insanity and incompetency of warfare. And yet, we as a species do not pursue diplomacy, instead we sustain huge military budgets, especially the USA.

Irania is so rude and tries to talk over the host. Trying to get more words in doesn't justify hamas's terrorism, ignoring anything asked about Hamas's terror doesn't make it non -existent. Calling Israel's action genocide but not hamas's action as not is a ridiculous denial. Shame on that woman.

The facts are: Anyone outside of Israel/Gaza and the middle east can’t control a war unless they get involved in said war, and no country can control terrorists unless they bring them down: historically this has only been possible through killing and war with said terrorists. Everyone on this show came to discuss, and bring their knowledge and personal experience to the conversation except Irania. She was saying the same sentences over and over, and it magically the war Between Israel/Hamas continues and Palestinians have not been magically saved. Having adult conversations and trying to align different facets of society globally to promote peaceful resolutions will: that is what is occuring in this interview. Irania will talk non-stop and take up majority of the video but when it comes to answering a simple question that can take 2 seconds with a yes/no answer and goes off on a tangent instead it is not anyone else in this who is derailing the conversation except Irania.
