Just made this one, although added some milk powder with the cashew powder. However, for the ones who are to try this one, please don't forget to check the mixture through the soft ball method. Scoop up a bit of the mixture, then see if it easy gets formed into a soft ball. This indicates the mixture is ready. Turn the heat off. Let it cool and when it's warm make dough of it. Or even after ample application of ghee onto the molding utensil it does stick. Even the butter paper with ghee won't work just let it cool a little and then make the barfis

@lifebuzz can't say what went wrong. Improvise now. From my cooking experience three things are very important: Timing, ingredient ratios and alot of patience.

I made it today, my second time for my mother's birthday. She is entering into her 75th Year today... It was awesome.... Both the times perfect. Stick to the exact quantities and instructions. Thank you Hebbars. Love you...

Before grinding Kaju in mixer --- Keep Kaju in refrigerator for sometime and make it cold. Trust me it will be of great help in making fine powder.

Yes, when I tried, while folding, it became so dry soon and went brittle.

I didn't even realise that it is this simple to make kaju katli until i watched this video

Today we made it..Trust me it came our fabulous and delicious.thx for easy receipe
