"Don't worry about it." All the folks who write comments about what you guys ought to do, or not do, should not worry about it. The J Heart crew know how to run their own ranch
Thanks for letting us tag along and play with your horses. We really enjoyed seeing Mi Amigo in action. Touching the babies was awesome. We enjoyed working with you guys. Thanks for helping Mi Amigo to be a great ride, we're all very happy 😊 with his level of training.

You bet! Thanks for coming out and for trusting us with your “baby” 😁
The flashy blanket goes well with the flashy horse!
I wondered when Jasper would get a bigger horse! LOL! Your grandma did a beautiful job on that blanket. It will be a beautiful memory!
Love, love, love those blankets your grandma made.

I already miss Mighty Eagle. I hope there’s another kid in line for such a good little pony. I loved watching Jasper work with him. I can’t get over how many great horses you have. My horse addiction is getting worse.🙀

It's so amazing to watch you guys been out there, just doing the chores of the cowboys. Beautiful land nice scenery, love this country. Good video Thanks 😊
Thank you for your videos. They are deeply appreciated!!
I loved looking through your horse’s ears with you. That was cool. I think the new pony is just the right size for Jasper. And that blanket is so beautiful, you are fortunate to have a talented grandmother. Great video.

Thank you👍🏽👍🏽 Great video.. nice horses.. love the Roundup scenery.. the saddle blankets was beautiful .. especially being made by grandma🙏🏽 I had a Bareback riggin pad made by my mother during my HS n Rez rodeoing days.. I still have it n yes, special to me.. Thank you again for sharing all the beautiful horses you have.. Keep up the good work 👍🏽
You are Navajo!! I noticed how pretty you are and wondered what your heritage is. And you wear interesting earrings that look southwestern. How cool! I appreciate seeing your activities around the ranch and getting your ideas. The saddle blankets your grandma made are gorgeous.

Great work guy’s, enjoyed it!
We had a telephone pole in the ground stacked with tires to tie off to. It was for any horse,called it the pole of patience. Lol. Great videos all of them. Can't ride or work ground crew anymore because of a serious car accident, your videos bring me tons of joy. Thanks
The blanket is beautiful, my great, great grandmother was Navajo, southern Colorado.
Just recently found your channel and truly enjoying your content! Thanks for sharing your life.
Beautiful blanket💕
Mighty fine video. Love seeing the mares and foals. Jasper's new horse is a good fit, at his age getting on one with the stirrups to long is a pain. The saddle blanket is to be proud of, beautiful work. I watch Pat Puckett getting ranch horses ready, he has made a lot of folks believers about roping their feet. If you have never watched him, he is an old time cowboy and bridle horse man.

I have no clue how I got here….I’mma true city girl born n raised in New Orleans 😂 I’m invested now lol! Closest I ever got to horses is watching NOPD ride them in Mardi Gras parades and my family in Opelousas that have land and used to have a few horses and cows. It's all super beautiful but I'm insanely curious what the heck they eat in that barren scrub?! Also curious where the water comes from in the trough!
@PaintedDesertRanch
2 жыл бұрын
There is lots of vegetation out here in the high desert they eat besides grass.... sage, chemise, purslane, etc... as for the troughs, have wells and pipe water from those all throughout the ranch.
❤ 🐴 ❤ For us new watchers, can you put a picture of who is who and how they are related to each other?

Jerry & Nancy own the ranch. Henson is their son, Danielle is his wife. Henson and Danielle have 3 kids- Connor, Haidyn, and Brooks. Jasper is their nephew.
Going to miss mighty eagle. Will mighty eagle be repurposed to the other children. I hope so. That little pony gave his all 😀 anyway congrats to I asked for new pony 😁

Mighty Eagle is still with us and will probably still get to work while Jasper transitions. When Jasper is totally comfortable with Friskers Mighty Eagle will go back to his owner... Jasper has just been “training” him for his nephew.
You need to get your son a drone and he will find the horses real quick.

Have y'all ever considered freeze branding just wondering I know some are doing around this area I've seen it done and the horse or calf or cow doesn't react to it at all. Like your content good stuff. 🍻
@PaintedDesertRanch
2 жыл бұрын
No. We have 70 foals and a zillion calves a year to brand, freeze branding takes tons more time and $$$ so hot iron branding works best for our program.
how big are the babies so good

I don’t know if a drone will go far enough out those mares were over 3 miles out.
regarding your tack, I prefer not to twist any of my latigos or cinches so I hang them on my front keeper as opposed to a rear one. Everyone is different it doesn't look like that rear cinch billet is any worse for the wear. Rock on with all your content.
