I love how vulnerable he is to her, he's not afraid to show his old wounds. that's what slowburn does for many years trusting in the other, watching over her back at all times. My fav couple from one chicago ❤️

@@melaniee.3634 yea Kim adopting Makela after the terrible way her family was murdered made Kim my favorite person on that show .. and the way she made her come out of her ptsd was so beautiful..I hope they don't kill her off the show . She was hurt badly in future episodes after she adopted Makela I got scared for Kim

@@bxpacino3130 such a poorly constructed write out for a character that had such a growth arc for 9 seasons. Total bummer.

These two have had the best character developments, from two people who were very guarded to opening up about their pasts and really having each others backs I just love to see it! They have really been each others strength and proven that love conquers all, they faced one of the most challenging times but never gave up on each other. Writers are doing full justice to their pairing.

They have had the best slow burn partnership to friendship to relationship and now marriage of the three one Chicago shows. They’ve been my favorite duo since season 5.

What a lovely scene! I love how he opened up to her and she said she would love him all the same if he told her or not. I love them together!

Omg I just noticed this parallel, in this episode 9x03 when hailey tells jay, “you don’t have to tell me anything. You can and I’ll love you all the same.” It’s similar to episode 6x10 when jay tells her, “you didn’t have to tell me anything” when he finds out about her and Adam

I love their bond, their chemistry, their development, I love them ❤

Jay and Hailey have a true vulnerability with one another. They feel safe and always look out for each other. Perfect slow burn couple

I love Jay's army storyline and hope to see more of it. Mouse and Jay said in season 4 that they went through hell during the war, especially on one day, I'd like to finally find out what happened there! I wish Mouse would come back !! I loved Jay and Mouse. I would also like to focus now on building a further relationship between Hank and Jay - I have expected this for a long time. The conclusion from the last episode brought them closer together, something I waited a long time for because they already had father-son storylines in the earlier seasons, so I'm glad them butting heads is over because honestly, from my perspective, it was a little out of their characters (I hated season 8 in general, there was no balance in that season, writing a little out of the characters and very grim storylines, overall). We still need to see the important conversation between Hank and Jay about the past and the future, this is pivotal for the show! Anyway, I loved the last episode, it's clear Jay loves Hank deep down and wants to protect him! I especially loved the line Jay said to North that he wants to protect his family and the city, and he mentioned Voight and Upton in this context !! I would love to see more of it, this father-son relationship between Hank and Jay !! But I never doubted they will be ok !!

I wish I could like this comment over and over because I 100% agree!! Would love to see Mouse again and I noticed in the earlier seasons and missed in the latest, Jay and Voight's father-son like relationship.

So overly dramatic & pointless. The fact that things he had nothing to do with no control over just show how weak cowardly & insecure it truly is. Oh boo hoo. I shot a guy using a ricohett off a humvee the guys didn't think i could do it & the name stuck hardly a sniper or skilled shooter. As for his other lil secret good people do bad things & he had nothing to do with it boo hoo " I mean everyone..." so that's on the other guy what's the problem. He's acting like halstead killed his best friend or let his best friend die & covered it up. Why does everyone in this show take everything so person & overly emotional..... BTW nice high rise apartment on a cops salary.... Halstead is so weak & pathetic & insecure.
