Never felt that connection between whatever song it might be and the person who wrote them. That could also be because a lot of the time now, artists don’t really write their own music or lyrics anymore, SADLY!!😒 For some reason, a lot of the time now, the artist only sings the song but yet has no personal connection to the song whatsoever because it isn’t even their words! Just their voice on the record!! That to me is INCREDIBLY DEPRESSING & SAD AF!! But with Halsey.... Her voice for one is so angelic to my ears!!! I think Without Me is a really liberating song for almost anyone. She puts something into words, pins down a specific feeling, that is really hard to express that everyone relates to in some capacity. It's a song that puts the feeling of being rejected into words without throwing a pity party.

Halsey is so genuine and raw about her feelings. I love it.

Halsey makes me swoon with every word she says but ALSO props to this interviewer! Like super respectful, kept it human, didn't antagonize and what a beautiful interview that resulted from it. Artists respond well to this, it's all about vibes, I mean look how happy and safe she felt to talk about all this with him and in the end she probably shared A LOT more than some of these 'gotcha' radio hosts could ever hope to get in an interview with her. More interviewers would do well to learn from this

I really love Halsey so much. The talent she has is way beyond most pop musicians. That she expresses her feelings so amazingly while creating a sound that is quite easily recognizable and managing to portray some of the issues that go with being a person w/bi-polar is so impressive.

I could literally listen to her talk for the rest of my life I love her voice

Damn I didn't know she was 24. I thought late 20's. 30 isn't old! I'm 34..... she does give pink vibes. But anyone every hear her interviews? She talks about dumb stuff and makes herself look stupid. She has good music beautiful face/body/voice and still 1 of the most hated singers. Lol

I think I am now officially in love with her personality, energy, positivity & also she is beautiful.

I always felt that it's better to release music song by song instead of full albums bc the one song comes naturally and is authentic. The pressure from the label to make music like a person is a factory tends to be manufactured and less authentic. Way to go Halsey! Amazing song!

I discovered Halsey when she made the song with the chain smokers and I’ve been absolutely in love with her. Her song “blue” is amazing. All her songs have so much meaning. Look up when she talked about her S/A. I cried with her and I’ve shared it so many times because I relate to it so much. She struggles with mental health and she’s been turned away from the music community so many times and she kept fighting and look where she is now! An absolutely amazing human being in every way.

First song I heard by Halsey. I cried my eyes out. Then I fell in love with her, such a talent!

I've never spoken to an Angel but I am convinced an Angel sounds like Halsey.

Halsey is truly a Libra at heart. Balance is so important

What an incredibly sweet interview... insanely impressed with both people here... she is still so young and everything about her life is out there...she handles it with grace... Good for you, girl:). I have a feeling she is going to be just fine.

She's adorable. I only fell in love with the song and heard her name once or twice. Came here and fell for the personality. "Glowing" is the best way to put it.

She’s so genuine... truly inspiring.. What’s she’s talking about is giving love to people the way they need it, and not the way you think they need it. Not giving an eye for an eye like she said, but reciprocating in the way that others need... that’s love language. You have to speak someone else’s love language in order for them to understand it, feel it, and reciprocate it as love.

@Abby Lowe Yes basically, but its more in that she's describing something that is inherent in every person's subconscious, yet for some reason most people are unaware of it, so when someone who has the creative eyes and understanding to see it for what it is and then speak about it, it brings out a huge "Ahah!" moment in a lot of people, like they suddenly realize "Yes I get that, and I want it too!"

Halsey is my favorite everytime I feel bad about her breakup she's good person how people breaks heart so easily. Without me is my most favorite song every day I listen. I love u Halsey ❤ God bless you 💋

I love her. Shes always been different in the way her song are, what she talks about in her songs, and how fucking real she is! She is my favorite singer and i hinestly cannot wait until she throws her next album out! Her songs have moved me and helped me when i was in such a dark place. I literally cannot thank her enough and appreciate how different she is and pouring out her soul into her songs. I hope one day i can meet her in person one day shes such an amazing person 😍❤❤

Yes girl,keep being you and dont let anyone take that from you..I think everyone will interpret this song in different ways depending where it hits them at home..If they cant relate in a painful way then they will feel a different feeling and others will feel emotional being able to connect to what it means to them like it does to you..Its a great song so I'm glad you decided to share it with the world :)

2 years later i put on without me i still cry. it spoke to my soul in ways i cannot explain.

the strength she portrays is nothing like a public figure would’ve. she was straightforward and kept positive. having that done and dealing with it publicly definitely would’ve made someone crumble, but not her. love love love her. 🤍
