Actually we started with a cheaper budget, simpler cruise... But it got cancelled a month before we went to Hanoi. Then tried booking another one, which got cancelled too two weeks before the trip!! Finally we contacted directly with this Alisa Cruise's GM (as on their website), and we're really glad everything went smoothly and they're super friendly, so Alisa Cruise is now very dear in our hearts!!

lovely 2 day cruise, all the delicious food and fun activities made it a great holiday!

Very nice videos. After a few trips to Ha Long Bay my favorite cruise has been the Dragon Legend. They cruise Bai Tu Long bay instead of Ha Long. Just as beautiful, but less crowded. Looking fwd to watch more of your videos.

Yeah, those activities were part of the cruise package, that's why we think its really worth taking the cruise if you have the time!

Great bus, nice room and you got lots of interesting activities. The cave a lovely but too much crowded. I love the squid fishing. And the view from the top, forgot the name (the one you wore the lovely white dress) was stunning...

Everything going well for you on this episode! Skylights on the bus. Booking upgrades for your hotel room and then amazing views throughout. Sue looks so impressed with the boat 😁👍 your room was really nice! The balcony is the best! We were planning on doing this too but decided go go ninh binh instead since yen gets motion sickness on the water 😅 nice to be able to live the experience through your videos 😍 the kayaking looked great and same with the food you were well fed during this trip the grilled fish spring roll was 🤤 yeah!!! Puri you caught a squid!

Those caves! Wow! Right next to the bar, that's convenient! Oh cool, cooking class. Looks like they have many activities and the service looks great. We would do the hike too. The views are always worth it. Great adventure guys.

Yea I think all the cruises have the same itinerary as approved by their government. This was our first Vietnam trip, we're missing our Vietnam already, especially their food! Was just watching Nick & Helmi's Vietnamese food earlier, we're salivating 😂

Yeaaah! It's during end of Spring, I heard it was foggy all day even during noon the month before we went! We're lucky to be able to see even the sun when we went!

It's been at least 2 years since we could travel overseas. We'd love to visit Vietnam again. Yea, this was pre-covid days and we totally didn't expect that crowd.

Damn! Your bus is so nice! The one I was in, we were packed like sardines and the bus was 1.5 hours late picking me up. Maybe it's because it was only a day trip and not an overnight trip.

Ah that's unfortunate, sorry to hear that. We did pay a little more for the bus and the overnight cruise as we saw good reviews in travel booking sites from other customers, although this may not be the cheapest cruise, but totally value for money and we book directly with Alisa, very reliable and superb customer service! (At first, we actually book another budget cruises, but they told us a month before our trip that their license got revoked and have to cancel our booking... so later we book with another cruise, again, 2 weeks before our trip, they told us they're full and cancel our booking.... We're glad we lastly found Alisa with such a short time frame, at that point reliability is our priority given 2 cruises already cancelled on us, and we're glad that our cruise with Alisa went better than expected!)

Wait hang on is the room in the actual boat? It is what the hell! That is so 😍😍😍, any seasick feeling??

Yesss the room is in the boat!! 😄😍 Nope no seasick at all, you won't even notice that the boat is moving! Sue tends to have sea sickness on small boat, this was a really comfortable cruise!

Ha Long Bay is quite no wave everytime, because of its special natural structuralism. So don't worry about seasick feeling!

Hi there! Thanks for watching our video! For us, we had limited time in Vietnam (4 days 3 nights), so that's why we decided to spend only 2d1n in Halong Bay. We read some review that 3d2n might be a little too long, but it really depend on individual. If you like to have a relaxing and chill vacation, then spending more time in the cruise would be nice, but for those who enjoy a compact itinerary with lots of activities, then I think 2D1N is sufficient. Hope you will have an enjoyable trip!

How much do a person being charged to Halong Bay?

Hi Ben, you can check their website or Travel websites like Agoda. We contacted Alisa Cruise directly as we need the assurance that we're getting a cruise (prior to that we book through 2 travel website, and they cancelled on us which we only got their reply a month or weeks after we booked them, was so disappointing and so much hassle, we're worried that we might not have a cruise when our trip comes), Alisa cruise is slightly pricier, but we got a great deal by contacting Alisa directly (we're not sponsored btw haha), the cruise experience was amazing, and they're very accomodating, that's why we highly recommend this cruise based in our experience. There are cheaper ones as well, which I'm sure you can enjoy Halong Bay as well! Do try to keep in mind monsoon seasons too when going to Halong Bay! Hope you'll enjoy Halong Bay as much as we did!

Hi there! We've visited during mid April (start of spring) this year 2019, it was right after the rainy winter season, during winter it can get very misty and might not have the best view. Do avoid the storm & typhoon season in summer as well, I think it's around June-September. Hope you'll enjoy your Halong Bay trip!

I did a similar cruise and I don't think it was a good cruise at all. There were too many ships out there and too many tourists.
