It's good. I still like the first halo wars story more though

The lyrics perfectly capture halo. "Poisoned pride" represents the covenant "Reckless rage" the banished "The fear we do not name" the flood I could go into so much detail but my point is its perfect for halo.

Oh my! This song is so hype inducing, even without the actual visuals! I love the Halo Wars theme instrumental being remixed in this song. Stephen Rippy really did a great job with the original version with its melancholy. This version is great as well with the strong guitar setting the stage for a strong return. The baritone singing set the dark tone of war and survival, and the lyrics really brings into mind a hardened veteran who's ready for his next fight. The White Buffalo did well with this remix. I love Halo Wars 1 and 2! hope we see more Halo Wars in the near future!

I really loved both halo wars games and i need more of them, but sadly i think they said they dont have any plans for another halo wars game. So we probably wont see another game for a good while if ever sadly

But they are pulling every string they have in order to get a victory, they are willing to jump to hell without a second thought. They both know each other. Perfectly.

I'm hoping this is a sign 343 will come back to work on Halo Wars 2 and finally green light Halo Wars 3!

Honestly Halo wars 2 was the last Halo title that gave me goosebumps upon its unveiling and I actually generally enjoyed the story and the characters even if I wish some of the characters had gotten more spotlight time. Something is really wrong with Halo nowadays. Things are just much like service and everyday life half baked and half finished and no promise of tomorrow. The gaming industry is sick.

Just redownloaded Halo Wars 2 again after a while and now the official song comes out. What a great gift!

Over 5 years we waited for this, but now it’s ours.

Man even years later, in 2024 almost 7 years as of typing this message, this song continues to be a absolute gem. The game, despite how old it is now, will always be in my top five favorite Halo games.

I wanted this so desperately for YEARS to the point where I forced myself to learn how to play and sing it myself after all this time and then FINALLY you put it out?! 🤣 Goodness what an incredible song. I wish it were like 4 minutes long.

343's best work. 10/10 game.
