All of these years and I'm barely realizing that this was a scene about how Kat lost her arm, and how Noble Team lost their Noble 6. Maybe that's why Kat is so cold towards us because she feels offended to have replaced the original? Damn, this is deep stuff, just reinforces my love for this game so much more.

Same man! I’m sad noble 6 even after being replaced is gone. I still have my original hard copy halo games until halo 4. I love them all except 5 story in my opinion

We did lose something real. The end of the Golden age of gaming. Now every game is trying to squeeze more end more money out of you while missing things that were standard back then. Everything is on the drip fed system.

Spartans never die, they're just Missing In Action

So many memories. Back when I got my first hard copy of reach in the last days of the 360, to when I booted reach back up on my one after my dad and I had the 2 biggest gaming disappointments in our lives with Halo 5 and our old 360 red ringing in 2015. Then to coming back to reach on the MCC in 2020 after being starved out of gaming content. And now today, where despite Halo infinite being out I still play Reach on the MCC to this day, trying to grind my way back up to all of the armor pieces I got in the original game. Truly legendary game, and arguably the last truly amazing Halo. Remember Reach.

I have yet to see another game trailer with as much emotion as this. this is the best video game trailer ever!

Wow. Truly sad. Since i have yet to buy an Xbox since 360 and Reach was my main game on there. So many lan party memories with my friends...

The idea that "Spartans don't go out quietly" is been reinforced very brutally in the lore. but in Reach, we see that most don't even get a chance to react to the sudden brutalities of war. Remember Reach, remember what we lost... so we can fight harder to get it back. **stares at 343 with malicious intent**

Playing Halo rn on pc with the world. It feels amazing.

Bungie's Halo games just have that emotional impact

That music, 13 years later, still one of the best halos, and more tragically history ⛈️

Its poetically depressing to know that the two most impactful moments of Kat's career, Losing her arm, OG Noble Six was there. Getting shot and killed, Our n Noble Six was there. Its sad going through the campaign knowing Kat was only ever cold to Six because she was offended their Six was replaced, but both times she was right next Six, despite the two not being the same person

343 really fumbled the bag by not advertising Reach on MCC by re-releasing this trailer. I woulda cried real tears if I heard this piano again out of the blue.

Doesn't make much sense to break out of the group and be running alone carrying the bomb when there are tons of enemies with guns. She definitely can run faster but then she's one figure wearing teal armor running down the street and is an easy target

Well not to mention while yes the spartan 3s are better than marines their armor was the most inferior of all of the generations. They were essentially better ODST With some augmentation. The SPI armor they were given was... just not great that's why we never heard much about them beyond halo reach and the book ghosts of onyx. The plan got scrapped for the improved 4th generation of spartans.

My man took a one way trip and didn't even look back. Rip Noble 6.

343 will never replace what Bungie created

Noble six isn't dead guys, he's just MIA like all other spartans

In all fairness, he could have just waited until the very last moment and just leave the bomb where he got in. The effect would have been the same and he wouldn't have died.

To be honest, I feel like the reason Kat is so cold to Noble Six is because it was supposed to be her delivering the bomb and not Thom. To see the spot filled in by the player is like an insult to her, and Thom's memory because she probably feels guilty about his death.

I could go back and play this game but the golden days of it are over. Mcc takes forever to find a match. Custom games browser is hilariously fun though gives me a small amount of hope.

All I'm saying is why didn't noble six get the bomb first since he had a jet pack 😂 Really stupid to have Kat running and risk a bomb on countdown when banshees and enemy infantry are on the ground between her and the target...

Canonically it was because Kat was the one who made the plan to bring the bomb to the ship, she probably didn't want anyone else to bear the burden of carrying out a suicide mission, though in the end she couldn't fulfill her role and Thom took it upon himself to carry the bomb and died because he couldn't get out of the blast radius in time

@@morganwilliams2863 Probably betting even if he threw the bomb a bit earlier it wouldn't have made much of a difference, the bomb seemed very close to detonating so even if he ran early he definitely would have still died. Plus that scene was just for an emotional effect as well. Keep in mind he entered from where the grav lift was and entered into the hangar bay of the ship which is a completely different section of the carrier overall. A lot of running in the halls.

I really appreciate that they didnt do the obnoxious Playstation thing... blasting their brand sound effect like the "pLaYsTaTiOn" at the end. Amazing trailer. (I have no preference on systems, but this dumb idea almost ruined the Uncharted 4 "Man Behind the Treasure" trailer, which I Ioved)

343 needs new writers. Keep falling down with same storying telling pitfalls. Halo 6 was the best 343 game, but was nowhere near the best Halo and it isn't even complete. This gaming industry really needs more regulation. Letting bro culture win at activision and even now 343 can't even make a complete game.
