I didn't like to get killed by the gravity Hammer but I sure do like using it 😂

Improved netcode, Easy Anti-Cheat, and new Squad Battle maps...this update is everything I've wanted from Halo Infinite. All the weapon updates are improvements too. It's like 343 dropped my birthday next Tuesday.

This update is such a W. Especially cause we don't have to wait till the yappening to receive it, but I'm conflicted on the gravity hammer change. I've had so many times where I'm like 2 metres away from the enemy and I hit em with the GH and they don't die, but then I will be like 10m away and they'll cross map me with the damn thing. Hopefully the new networking model fixes this but gosh the gravity hammer sucks in all areas.

Agreed, I definitely wasn't expecting this until April. I'm just hoping they've ironed out the kinks with the Gravity hammer so that it's much more consistent. As you said, it can be super frustrating to die to someone using the hammer 30 miles away, yet when you use it up close, it does nothing. Fingers crossed the new networking model addresses this! 🙏

Seems to be a pretty good update to carry us over to content update 30. I’m surprised to see Timberland from CE make an appearance. Also 2:55 💀💀

Huge W, can't wait to play it in Squad battle! Also, I'm having some family over tomorrow so I won't have time to do the stream. If they cancel I will but for now the stream has been moved to next Saturday :)

Fingers crossed the new networking is smooth, it felt great before when we were testing it, so I have high hopes

The new network was a buff to the commando already 😂

An update that's going to convince me to play again! This is the sort of monthly drops the game needs.

Finally, I won’t get my arse blasted by the fucking grav hammers from a kilometre away in husky raid.

I just hope the next Halo game launches as a COMPLETE product. We can't have another Halo release without the match composer, without a Custom Games Browser, without Forge or without classic BTB with at least 5 launch maps and Arena playlists with at least 10 maps that offer variety in layouts, aesthetics and size. Also don't forget full armor customization, no more cores and a career progression system combined with unlockable customization content

I hope the falcon, stasis field, new ui, and the mutilater is still confirmed to be infinite

Now Halo players can create the true firefight mode, so 343 will most likely just put that into matchmaking once there are a few good maps for it!

Love the Commando change!

Some of the weapon buffs and nerfs are confusing to me. I don’t think the Bandit needed a buff nor the Heatwave and Stalker Rifle a nerf, I thought those weapons were fine as is. But the one that irked me the most was the Plasma Pistol. Yes its charge up time has been increased, FINALLY, but nerfing its RoF was confusing because it was already not so great. We can’t we have the CE Plasma Pistol back? That was THE “pew pew gun” with a fast fire rate and decent damage. The rest of the weapon changes, I can get behind.

Hope Halo 7 forge has interchangeable skyboxes for clouds and such 😅 and a umbrella like blocker for screen FX or detect if the ground has a roof over it, making structures with rain or snow on the level gets ruined after awhile 😂

I am excited for the firefight mode, time to finally have an official classic firefight, here’s hoping it finds it’s way into matchmaking eventually Kinda sad no ravenger buffs, that gun has been begging a buff since it got nerfed with launch, the pre launch ravenger was sooo good

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't 343 said they're fixing desync like a plethora of times at this point to no avail? There's been some updates regarding desync in the past that didn't resolve the underlying issue at all

I think your right with making the gravhammer more predictable as there's been so many times I've died to its deceptive range, let's hope it won't dominate husky raid as much as it did. Also some of my prefabs where used in the Helldivers at home map, awesome to see them in something so many people have played .

Honestly I’m for everything except the commando. After every 5-6 shots I pace my shots if my bloom is too much and I out perform 1v1’s but if it makes it more easily accessible to new players that should be good but I like how it is personally with a slight skill gap with the commando

AR was updated earlier this week and now just like ancestors one mag can kill full shielded player

Happy to hear they are finally fixing the hammer. I never understood why they changed it all those months ago.

I love playing on steam deck. Hope the new anti cheat wont mess it up.

All that's left is to get rid of the cheaters on halo mcc and everything will be perfect

I've noticed 343 aren't really adding any maps to ranked, mainly because the ranked community would go nuts if they added a community-made map that didn't fit the flow/tone of ranked. I'm sure that will change soon, but it sure is odd how not one community map has gone into the playlist.

@@FootedGhost I’m just more of a ranked player and love watching the tourneys. It’s boring seeing and playing the same maps over and over again since launch. The pros whine a lot if they don’t like something which is annoying. But their are some really good maps even if they are from forge that can be implemented in ranked. We need something new.

I will come back if they bring back some old classic weapons in the game. This is not game changer in my eyes. The sandbox weapons are boring. I want more weapons in the game make big team more interested with these classic maps some classic weapons to make the game feel like playing a classic map with those weapons specially the classic Magnum I want the classic shotgun I like to see the Promethean weapons to be in this game cause there’s so much fun to use the rail gun the saw and I like to see sort of shotgun post to be what the banish used the sandbox feel different it’s just feel style and Sammy, like I gave on like why we got two DMR in the game, one with the scope and one without the scope. It’s so stupid

As far as I'm concerned, everything else is shit if they don't fix the multiplayer UI. Nothing sucks more than being forced into their shit playlists or the crapshoot of user created maps. You cannot choose a specific game type.

Am I the only one that thinks that this update is basically nothing? It’s like the patch every single game makes after a week of being released. Why is everyone talking about it being the “BIGEST HALO INFINITE UPDATE!”? I’m kinda lost
