Love both. My biggest objection to Halloween Time is that Oogie Boogie Bash sells out too quickly and it is very difficult to get tickets. This year Disney's online ordering system crashed on it first day of sales and even though I waited online for 10 hours, was not able to get ticket. Disney needs to do a better job.
Making Chris laugh so hard is the highlight of my week! 😆

That is absolutly shocking!!! The Holloween decorations are so much more in your face all day long rather then just at night. But really both are so cool!
Christmas 🎄 of course!!!
When I was a kid (I'm 51 now) we would always spend Christmas day at Disneyland because it was so empty. Hard to believe it now.
We’re here now, all the way from Scotland. We had hoped to see Halloween but a family emergency meant we rescheduled and now get to experience Christmas. The sun shining whilst holiday music plays is so alien to us! We’re so used to the cold and rain. 😂❤

Wow, I'm glad things seemed to work out with the family..?! Grown and raised in Southern California and going to Disney. Holiday time is definitely preferred by my family. ✨ I hope to visit Scotland one day! I love everything I know about your history and general culture, and it's a beautiful place! 💙🤍🦄 🏴
I think the 67% accurately represents your audience which seems more family oriented so they are going to usually go with the holidays over halloween. I just got back from 5 days at Disneyland during halloween and the parks were absolutely packed but I think this year the food looks better than what was offered during Halloween.

@@kv7598What?! That is crazy. I want to look into that. We just started homeschooling and I was surprised how many kiddos were out and about during fall. Lol 🍁🍂😂 We too took time off because of Sukkot- and our "Christmas" during that time too. But this is very interesting news. We don't like crowds but we still prefer holiday time! It's close...

I prefer the treats during Halloween TBH, the apple pie drink at Clarabelle's was chef's kiss! But hoping they kick it up a notch for the holidays! But otherwise the holiday time at Disney is preferable to us. If anything we hope for cooler weather, the earlier nightfall, and the overall theming is more cheerful!
Halloween is fun, but The Christmas Holidays are meaningful.

@@ari3lz3pp yes!! My dad and I have been watching it together. Then a new book in one of our favorite series came out so we’re listening to THAT right now. Then We’ll go back to Behind the Attraction.
We are here at the GCH right now! Going into Disneyland this morning. I'm so excited. And I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it, I like it.
I use to be a pass holder, I prefer Christmas. But now that I'm a parent with a mortgage my kids have only been there once and have never seen the plain haunted mansion. If we go back it'll be in August.
I used to favor Halloween time until it started to be 90 degrees on an average day 😭 it just doesn’t feel like fall when it’s that hot! At least for the holidays the weather is much more likely to align
Hope to keep up the "tradition" of seeing you when we're there in Disneyland this week. 😊 For the past 2 years we've been lucky enough to "run into"you around this same time! 😊 It's such a treat to see you so hopefully we'll be lucky enough to run into you for the 3rd year in a row! 😊😊😊

Sorry I missed your poll. I totally prefer Holidays. I worked at the hotel from 1988 to 1990 and my favorite memories include the Disneyland carolers who came through the Monorail Cafe and Chef's Kitchen where I worked.

In the near future I plan on seeing Halloween in Disneyland and Christmas at Disney World. Both look amazing.
Chris, this is the first year since 2005 we are missing Vets day and the start of the holiday season. Very sad right now 😢. Maybe next year. We would have been flying down on Saturday, Vets day. Enjoy for us Chris.
Wow‼️ I’m happy the Holidays won 🎉
Thank you Sir
Off topic but… I just watched the Norwegian Joy depart Miami. It has go carts! Love to see the Provost Family review of that 😃. Thought it looked like a lot of fun 👏👏👏🥳. Love your adventures. 👏👏👏
I wish Disneyland was doing a Christmas after hours party this year !!😢
Both are great, I’ve gotta go with holidays though.
Chris, I had a choice of when I wanted to come. Halloween or Christmas. I am bringing my family for Christmas. There is nothing more beautiful!!!
Halloweentime for me!! But holidays is more magical!
Hi 👋 I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy weekend and a happy Friday and a happy evening 🌆✨ and a happy night 🌉😴.
It's crazy Disney will not call the Christmas tree a Christmas tree, but a Yule tide tree.
I’ve been going to both, but love the holidays more. One reason I prefer the holidays at Disneyland is there is nothing behind a party paywall or unattainable reservation. All of the holiday fun is for everyone! I’ve never been to a Halloween party or OBB, because either I don’t have a trip scheduled in time, when tickets come out, or the parties happen when we can’t go because of kids in school. I feel like they’re mostly geared to locals. We’d love to see the Halloween parade sometime, but just haven’t been able to make it work.
Imo I like the Halloween season more at Disney than the holiday season. The music imo is better, the lights, the vibes. I just went 2 weeks ago with only my cousins and their friends, the oldest of the group was 26 and I’m the youngest at 20. I think it wouldn’t have been as fun if it were the holiday season, but that’s just me.
Holidays for the win!! The cozy feel, the pure and innocent joy, the feeling of good will… just pulls at my heart strings. Plus everything is lit up and just so beautiful.
Orange is my favorite color too😊 I also think it is a bright and exciting color and an underrated color. But now they are associating it with anxiety 😟 are you kidding me.
I love your history of theme park Halloweens, C! I've lived all my 60-plus years in SoCal and didn't even remember most haunts came in so recently. I'm too wimpy for really scary stuff, but I get thrills and chills over Halloween decor and music. That slightly beats out warm fuzzies over Christmasy ambience.
Hi Chris. Got a question about hotels. Do they call them suites because they're so nice? But dum bum! 😉😅 I also noticed that one of the pools was in the shape of a T-shirt. Thanks for the walk. Hope you had a great day.👍
Yay Christmas time!❤❤
Well I was a kid in the 80's and a teen young adult in the 90's so they didn't really have the big time Halloween then so I preferred the holiday Christmastime layouts
Hi Chris, I absolutely love all your videos!!! Do you think you could do fun facts about the Tram ride and the experience + audio?? I haven't been to Disneyland for a few years (since 2018), and riding the tram is my favorite start to my Disneyland day!
I have been to both Halloween and Christmas time at Disneyland. For me, I gravitate towards the holidays at Disneyland because they really have fun with their decorations around the park during that time. The decorations on the tree and the soundtrack for The Haunted Mansion are the perfect combination for holiday time at Disneyland. I also love walking around the park seeing Disney's time and effort they put into putting this holiday show for us Disney fans. I enjoy things that pop out in front of my face and Disney does just that.
I prefer the Holidays at Disneyland because when I went with my family for the first time back in 2000, it was during the Christmas season. I remember watching A Christmas Fantasy Parade and riding Small World Holiday.
I'm not surprised by the results at ALL. Disneyland and the holidays go together like peanut butter and jam. If I crave an awesome Halloween experience I just go to Knott's scary farm 😂

Thanks Chris! Given that Disney dresses up the park for Halloween in September, when is the best fall time to go to avoid crowds but still enjoys the Halloween festivities? Speaking of halloween spooks, like zombies......you were Lance in ZEROS?!?!?
I like Halloween as well. Dressing up in costume and giving out candy to trick or treaters are my favorite parts of that holiday. Going to haunted houses and getting scared, not so much. I don’t like that. If I were to choose, I prefer Christmas.
We switch every year. One year Halloween, one year Christmas, one year without theme.
Well 😂I will probably like Halloween and the Holidays at Disneyland which I’m not familiar of
I love both for what they bring to the parks but yeah, but I really really like Christmas there more though because of the overall atmosphere of all of the Christmas decorations, and the overall cheeriness of it all
I love Christmas!!!🎄☃️🎅
Definitely holiday season for Disney…however hands down the best park to go for Halloween is Disneyland’s rival down the street Knott’s Berry (Scary) Farm
I cannot believe Halloween did not win! Best weather, best parade. I mean, the headless horseman is there!!
I love them both so much
I loved being at Disney during the Holidays. I haven't been able to do Halloween, but I am trying to go to Disneyland and Oogie Boogie nights for mine and my wifes 15 year anniversary and my best friend and his wifes 1 year anniversary next September. I hope I can get the tickets. I also want your job of going to Disney and giving tips and tricks, that just seems like such a fun thing to do, I know there is more to it than just the adventures.
You’re an awesome 😎 KZread channel.
OKAY DID IT ALL CHRIS
Halloween
I think Halloween is most popular, though my favorite is the Holidays…..
Hey, my comment was read😂😂
Definitely a Halloween girl❤
I love the holidays at Disneyland but it’s too crowded for me to enjoy it.
I missed the poll, but Halloween for me.
If we're talking Disneyland, that doesn't surprise me. Oogie Boogie Bash is ok but it's at DCA, but if we're talking Walt Disney World, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween is way way better. I think Christmas is better at Disneyland over Magic Kingdom. Tldr MNSSHP > OBB Christmas Fantasy > Once Upon a Christmastime Peppermint beignets are in the park at Disneyland, but no where in MK
Today is the November 10th not the 11th.

Yeah I messed that up
It's situational for me. I think halloween time has some of the best creative designs and overlays, as well as some of the best versions of churros (like the malificent churro) and some of the other snacks, plus I do love me some villain time. It's also nice to be just spooky and not horror like the other parks, which are a different kind of fun. Holiday time has the best vibes, music, parades and food overall. The killer for me is holiday times are always soooooo crowded compared to other times. That being said, it's a tie for me, they both rock my socks. I tend to go during times like feb as well, cause I love getting to ride the rides.
So excited to go for Christmas this year from Australia! Someone told me they swap to 2024 merch before Christmas, do you know if this is correct?
As an art student who studied color theory, I think anxiety should be purple. Orange is more creativity and hunger

Very interesting. Fear in Inside Out is purple! I like all colors depending on use. But the psychology behind them is neat. I know purple can symbolize royalty because it's been a more difficult color to get from nature apparently, at least in ancient times. They would get it from sea snails and it took a LOT to make a purple robe etc. So it became associated with being very well off. I can see how even that could make most people anxious because throughout history it's been the majority of people that DON'T have that kind of wealth and therefore power. But I think I get most anxiety from red-orange. Mainly because of things like tarantula hawks LOL. I've seen them 6 times in my day and it freaks me out. 😅
Also I wonder if the reason for the Christmas skew is that Halloween aficionados are less at Disney-related channels like yours and more at "extreme" rides-and-parks kinds of channels?
"February" 😂❤ I feel THAT sentiment for sure. But we are crazy locals that will see him on Grizzly! 🥶 😅 One of the reasons holiday time is my preference is due to possibility of cooler weather actually. And I enjoy rainy Disney. I prefer the treats during Halloween time for sure, most of them seem better to me than the ones they have been offering for holidays but maybe that'll change soon. My family doesn't celebrate Halloween or Christmas anymore. We look forward to celebrating Hanukah and im happy to notice they have some Hanukah theming! (We do "Christmas" in October), but the festivities dueing the holiday season just feel so much more cheery! I like when it "snows" on Mainstreet. I honestly am surprised people say the decor is too much. I feel its equal decor, or even not enough for the holidays! They could do a little more than I've seen but I still prefer the vibes and the MUSIC! I can do without the overly-modernized music they have been doing for other times. But hokiday time seems more consistently grounded in the nostalgia.
Humbug!

Very good question! I'm guessing they both like Halloween.
Neither… they are so crowded.
It is very subjective but it is also logistics. The Halloween theme automatically eliminates a large portion of children so more families will choose the Holiday theme. (Huge scary vs huge friendly) I think one of the big attractors of the Halloween theming is the greater contrast between what you see/experience in the daytime vs the nighttime with all the extra projections, lighting, etc.
I worked retail for over 20 years and humans are at the absolute worst during the holidays so I have grown to despise it
For me it's HALLOWEEN. I work retail and Christmas time is the worst. You don't see what all goes on the the back ground. So any time I see Christmas stuff out my anxiety goes through the roof. And stress me out. So please be nice to those retail workers during this time. Many places are short handed and you don't know how many hours that worker is working. In my job just had a guy walked out and we were already short handed so I'll probably doing 70-80 hours until the new year. Please be nice to us, we are working for you. You don't see what goes on beside the scenes.

Ok, I’m basing this off videos, pictures, and word of mouth; but hear me out! Halloween at Disneyland and holiday at Disney World
I don’t like the holiday or Halloween decorations. It ruins it for me.
For me Chris both Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎄 are equal because they both have their own unique magical moments that bring joy to me like being at Disneyland during Halloween 🎃 I experience things that only happen at that time of year which bring me so much joy and with Christmas 🎄 at Disneyland I’m surrounded with the beauty of such magical decorations which illuminate Main Street and I can’t forget the joy of snowp which falls on the wonderful guest heads also can’t forget all the other decorations and lights that add to the ambiance during the Christmas time of year so I find joy in both holidays, now I was wondering Chris if you might be going to Knott’s Berry Farm for their Christmas 🎄 event I looked it up and it looks like one heck of an event and the food offerings that you can only get during the holidays look great and they have a lot to choose from, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris Amanda and Miles and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

Free candy? That's the most EXPENSIVE candy EVER at over $100 dollars just to go and more than $200 if you did a regular day before the special one! As I probably will never go back to corporate disneyland (or it'll be extremely rare), neither season affects me for this place, because unless and until it goes back to being what Walt and Roy wanted, the "magic" of this place is DEAD! It's CHRISTMAS not "the holidays" that's for all the PC/woke/SJW's out there. When corporate disney got rid of Christmas it got rid of the real meaning of the season and more of the "magic" of Christmas.

Any day at the Disney parks is a good time, any time of the year. My preference is HalloweenTime as the decorations used to be more subtle except around the Haunted Mansion. My wife prefers HolidayTime with the heavy decorations, especially at night when almost the entire park is lit up like the Christmas Tree in the Town Square. We did have the experience of going to the parks one day and it still being HalloweenTime and returning the next day to HolidayTime. That was truly a magical experience.
Going on the 30th of this month and can’t wait to experience the magic whilst Christmas sprinkles over 🥹😍
