is there anyone else out there that is annoyed by the "christmas-ification" of halloween decor? halloween trees, lines like "tis the season to be spooky", etc?

I'm so proud of you of being selective! My decor collection is a mix of modern pieces and vintage/thrifted and I really feel great about adding 2-3 pieces every year of QUALITY instead of plastic shit. It's so refreshing to see an influencer talking about this message. We have enough garbage on this planet.

Not only is the quality going down, but prices are going up. I love going Halloween shopping; but the quality has been going down for years and prices have increased.

Well, I've gotten tons of things this year so far and love everything I've purchased. I'm afraid I must stop reading comments (note to self), just by doing so I can't seem to make myself finish the video. By the comments it would seem I am tacky, cheap and have no taste; important to note that people have loved my Halloween decorations for decades and have never doubted my Halloween taste or style. Seems we are getting very, very snobbish in these videos, bummer. Bunch of parrots.

we got the campy gator witch from homegoods last year and named her Crocodilia the Swamp Hag and she’s a HIT in our house 😂😂😂

Some of the stuff made me hesitate but I’m starting to recognize that these items may be meant to be included in a display with either blacklights or other lighting effects. So the neon painted headstone under a blacklight could be part of a pretty cool haunted pathway, and the disco ball cauldron in a set up with the right lighting and mist effects could look pretty sweet.
