Geoff's Halloween contribution this year is Jack's Lament from the Nightmare Before Christmas. Talk about acting and singing! You'll love it!

This one is one of my favorites of their Nightmare Before Christmas songs. I am not sure if you noticed...when Lane says 'To give it a little spice', Geoff does a little arpeggio in the background going down, he is so awesome. A few others they have done is 'Kidnap The Sandy Claus', 'This is Halloween', 'What's This?', and Geoff recently came out with one as well 'Jack's Lament' and it is simply amazing! Not quite a spooky one, but Voiceplay also came out with 'Hellfire' from the Hunchback of Notre Dame

Just FYI, since you mentioned it, VoicePlay does not do many Live shows anymore. Not since Covid shut that down. They have done an occasional, relatively local show, but they don't really tour as they once did. And now I'm going to say something entirely the opposite. In case you are not aware, they will be performing Live in November up in Atlantic City (at least I think that's the location?). They will be singing Live with the band Chicago - not opening, but part of Chicago's set. Thankfully, it sounds as if it will be filmed and we hopefully will eventually get to see/hear it.

Jack's Lament is Geoff's solo for Halloween this year (about a week out). VoicePlay's offering is Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame). They will be going up to join Chicago on stage - have 3 songs they get to sing.

In The Hall of the Mountain King would be a great choice to show her! Great reaction!

A more brilliant suggestion has yet to be posted... Keep a sharp eye on the players, every one who samples the brew sings funny.

i would recommend VoicePlays version of Kidnap the Sandy Claws that one's really good as well

I highly recommend all of Voiceplay's and Geoff's Halloween songs. You will enjoy all of them. Go watch Jack's Lament from Nightmare Before Christmas, Geoff's newest one.

Commenting on a rewatch - I love the way you talk about your wife. How she is 'beaming'. It is obvious just how much you love her and it is sweet to hear. It is now just about Christmastime. Wishing the two of you a very merry Christmas and a really wonderful New Year!

We love your wife and would be happy everyone you react with her. If your doing something that she doesn't know anything about, maybe give her a little context. For instance, Hellfire she might need to know the story line from Hunchback. Great reaction!

My favourite of the songs from that movie that they've done. The others are good: Kidnap the Sandy Claws, This is Halloween, and What's That? Pluse Geoff recent cover of Jack's Lament of course, which is brilliant. His range is just astounding. Yes the three major a capella groups are all different, they have their own unique flavour, but for me VP stands out for the theatricality and the incredible arrangments. They used to tour intil Covid put paid to to it, and since then they now concentrate on studio work and the videos. It's easier as they get older and children come along, etc.

Voicemail did 3 other Nightmare Before Christmas videos... Kidnap The Sandy Claws, This Is Halloween and What's This. This year Voiceplay did Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Geoff did Jack's Lament from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Normally I can't stop recommending just about all of VP's stuff, since Halloween is coming up, you really should check out the Bass Gang: Hide and Seek, definitely check that one please.
