Yea, i agree not saying acadamy award or any of the big awards they like to give out now but, from what ive read and herd she acted great. The score is awesome and cinamatography unreal. I think also coming from a guy that has little to know acclaim DGG puts most seasoned directors to shame

Streets of Fire. I love that movie. "Tom Cody, pleased to meet you!" Can't wait for Halloween 2018.

I'm really excited for this. My siblings and I saw the original in the theater when it came out. It's been a favorite since. One of my sisters is flying to my house next month, so we can go see this one in the theater together. I can't wait.

Does this Movie go back and answer How They Got michael from the 1978 Film and answer those tied up Questions?

I actually know all the spoilers to the movie. I even got your non spoiler-ish spoiler. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about and WHO. But knowing the spoilers doesn’t ruin a thing. I’ll probably forget a majority of them by the time I see the movie (either on the 18th or 19th of October). Plus I’ll get so caught up in what’s currently onscreen that I’ll forget even more and forget which certain characters die or when they die. I’ll probably be saying “oh this must be their death scene” a lot throughout the movie or I’ll be saying “oh yeah, I forgot they get killed.” But knowing all the spoilers has actually boosted my excitement. A LOT. The movie sounds like a blast from the spoilers and I’ll enjoy it. And it sounds like one of the better Halloween (sequels). Another thing making me excited for the movie and knowing the spoilers is waiting for the crowd reaction. I’m hoping I’m in a sold out showing. I saw IT at a sold out showing and it was one of the best movie going experiences in a long time. So I’m looking forward to what goes down watching the new Halloween.

Dan Roberts, if you are asking about the non-spoiler spoiler, he is talking about... SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Michael kills a kid. He kills the kid we see from the first trailer that is in the truck with his father and they are stopped because of all the loose patients roaming around on the road from the bus crash. The kid goes on the bus, runs into Michael’s doctor, the father is then killed offscreen (I think) and then when the kid gets back in the truck, Michael pops up from the backseat and then kills the kid. It sounds like Laurie is the one that gets killed from the tease, but it’s not her. Michael kills a kid. Let me know if there is anything else you want spoiled.

My only issue with the film is that they seem to be taking direct scenes out of older Cannon films that we have already seen before hence the bathroom scene in H2O; The garage scene in Halloween 4 and even the tracking shot of Michael killing the old lady from Halloween 2. I understand that the camera movement and Direction might be stunning in this iteration but if we're just redoing the same scenes that we did in three other films as far back as the 80s, what new are we bringing to the table? How are we advancing the narrative

john smith just because there's a tracking shot following michael done in the style of Halloween 1 and 2 doesn't mean it's copying. Same with the bathroom scene. It's giving fans what they want to see. This movie did what it needed to do. Felt familiar and fresh.

Great review, dude!!! I figured the spoiler/non-spoiler out with the first trailer, so it doesn’t ruin anything for me. I can’t wait for this movie to come out so I can watch it several times. Btw, where do you get those awesome shirts???

I actually know all the spoilers to the movie. I know exactly what he was talking about and WHO he was talking about when it comes to the non-spoiler spoiler. I wish I could build on what he said, but I may ruin something. I’ll just say it happens probably within the 30-45 minutes of the movie. So it’s not a major spoiler, but it is still a little shocking.

This is like the 5th review I've seen and each channel owner keeps on giving credit to this new Director, Why? has anyone not read that John Carpenter was a part of the direction and production of this movie as well? It's not because of this Mr/ Green person, Carpenter is the reason why this movie is the way it is and no other reason but that.

Locus Solus Carpenter was absolutely consulted as an advisor - but the concept was pitched by Green, Green directed the film, and his own directorial stamp is all over this film - check out his film “Undertow” for a glimpse at his work with suspense sequences.

Quick question. Can you recall any moments in the film where they get political? I hate when movies inject their political and moral viewpoints when I just want to be entertained, and I am REALLY looking forward to this movie. That kind of stuff will just ruin it for me. heartofalegend Myers takes off his mask, says “MAGA” and Laurie is joined by a local chapter of Black Lives Matter and they beat Michael to death. Then the women cast members of The Last Jedi show up and say GIRL POWER while they burn a confederate flag. Best. Ending. Ever. Other than that it’s not too political.
