There was a death at my Hospital, one of my patients. As I was walking into the room to wrap the body this song popped into my head. I began to sing out loud. Shortly after, I needed to do inventory of the deceased belonging and I found a picture of our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All glory to the Most High. Amen and again I say, AMEN.

Once upon a time, it was my dream to sing in the choir of the Air Force Academy. Unfortunately, my allergies started causing issues with my voice & I would have laryngitis for several weeks a year. My voice never really recovered enough to even continue in my high school choir, so I gave up my dream. All the choirs of the Armed Forces are such a blessing & a gift to our nation & our troops.

Let us be thankful for ALL who serve: Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindu, Buddhist, and all the rest . . . including agnostics and atheists. I spent 20 years in the US Air Force, and I was never religious. And we don't know what religions The Singing Sergeants practice. But they sang "Hallelujah" with as much soul as anyone I've ever heard!

I first would like to say thank you for your service to all in uniform. Past and present. And I also want to say that you all did a fantastic job. Beautiful! It's my favorite song, so I like to listen to all the different versions/styles. God Bless you all. ❤😊

One last comment. I found myself serving in Okinawa from ‘74-‘75 in the Marines. A fellow Marine who was a Church of God member invited me to the Christian Servicemen’s Church of God in town. I ended up spending my free time there over 13 months, Rev Wright was the pastor. All the members were Americans from the four branches along with their families I made many friends there. I gotta tell ya the love and the camaraderie I experienced was tremendous like never before and never since. The experience created a very special warm spot in my heart for all the troops of the United States of America, truly the cream of the crop and the best experience of my entire life. Semper Fi.

Found by my favorite Command Sergeant Major knocking on the pearly gates, calls rescue service and they rush me to Trauma Center. He hollers at me as they rush me away Hallelujah hallelujah. You still have things to do. He was freaking out 6 hours later when he came to check on me and They told HIM as soon as I came back to life (no treatment yet) i sat up and said HALLELUJAH put on my pants boots they had cut my shirt off me so I wore a bloody gown out signed the AMA paperwork and again said HALLELUJAH GOD is good please believe, this is just an olde sinner saying it. But myself have been blessed More than once..Oh this was Thursday .. ♾️🪖

What a wonderful; gift from God to be blessed with such powerful voices to lift HIM in song. Just beautiful. Thank you USAF for your service to our country.

This has always been a very emotional piece for me…I remember hearing the original by Leonard Cohen, and it just hit me as so stark, and so singular a prayer. Then, Pentatonix and their version, and I just fell apart. In High School, was involved in vocal music, and this just hit me at the very core, because of their beautiful rendition. This version, too was like a gut punch, but very, very beautiful. Thanks.
